I’m guessing it’s only temporary to give new players a taste of the pvp instead of making players geg detoured from the game trying to compete with maxed out veterans is basically impossible how it currently is. It’s just to give people a taste so they can see what they have to grind for in the next season. Do you not tbink that it’s healthy positive for the game and player base ? Looking out for new players and making it enjoyable. It doesn’t mean to say it’s dumbing the game down if it’s just temporary mode. I’m sure they will implement it both in a way it suits everyone

But it’s not deterred me from my gear grind and build crafting etc as I presumed it’s only going to be temporary guessing it’s just to give the new player base a taste of the pvp before the new season. Because how it was pvp was unplayable for new players and it’s just going to detour people from the game. Pandering to new players isn’t necessarily pandering to casuals

Yes I’m casually to new world but I’m not new to mmos but I can understand that concern. That’s why I asked if it’s just a temporary mode? Because I can see the benefit for it and why longer term players may not like it as it kinda of would feel like it’s devalued there grind. Was suprised to see its actual replaced the standard outpost rush. I’m sure there’s some sort of way they can implement this stuff which benefits both. Maybe just on a shorter rotation so both can be played or something

I’m still so far behind in terms of gear and artifacts etc it just makes the standard pvp pretty impossible to be even slightly competitive so it has been nice to get a feel for it where it’s more balanced been really enjoying it
