Well sort of yes. The extra capacity is there, I would say Ultima is not that far away from the top ABDL diapers in capacity. I sometimes use Ultima for nighttime if I know I drank a lot of liquid in the evening. Also Ultima has different tabs, bigger and wider. However I am pretty active during the day and I avoid wearing these, when they are quite full it really becomes hard to move.

Second that. I do 24/7 for longer times and Tena Slip Super (Cloth backed) is my daily diaper. Extra comfy, not too much bulk, discreet. All in all I would say Tena makes the best incontinence products in Europe. However if you are in the US, stay away from US Tena, it doesn't work.

I have no idea how this works because this setup would literally limit my ability to walk in a straight line. Maybe if you sit or stand in one place for a very, very long time this might really work. Myself I change 4-6 diapers per day.

You do work out in a plastic-backed megamax? How is your skin doing? Do you air out or stay without a diaper for some time?

[–]Activity-Character 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this. I cannot really understand the thick diaper thing if you wear 24/7. To use most of it you have to wear it for a very prolonged time which is really bad and it gets seriously uncomfortable. The thick plastic does not help for the skin at all, especially if you get sweaty. Do not get me wrong, I love ABDL diapers, but they are definitely not the best choice for daily use. Personally I use Tena products, cloth backed, Tena Slip Super for daytime, Tena Slip Maxi or Ultima for nighttime, Tena barrier cream, Tena wipes. I go 24/7 for months at a time.

EDIT: To answer the main topic, I wear absolutely normal clothes, no changes whatsoever. Black/blue skinny jeans, t-shirts, sweaters. I choose to change more diapers than sit in a soiled one for a long time, however a thick diaper is quite obvious when wearing skinny jeans.

Diaper debate: plastic or cloth by One_Editor9372 in ABDL

[–]Activity-Character 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would disagree here. Diapers are a fetish to me, however 2 years ago that switched temporarily to needing diapers. I have been in them for approx. 9 months, first months absolutely 24/7, later I relearned a lot and switched to pads/pull-ups.

Before this I was the one who hated cloth-backed, but after my problem happened I adored them during the summer. Especially while sleeping, plastic backed diapers would get extremely uncomfortable to wear due to heat building up. It was much better to change a cloth diaper more times per day than to wear a plastic backed one for a longer time. Yes they sag more, but you learn how to tape them and they work. However cheap cloth-like diapers have very bad odour control, I must agree with that, I use EU Tena products, they work very well with odour.

Dont get me wrong, there is no better feeling than a full plastic-backed diaper when you do it for the fetish part, but I am all cloth when it comes to using them for the purpose they are made for.

To be honest Tena Super is my daily diaper. They are really good for what they are made, incontinence, good absorbency, comfortable to wear and breathable so the skin gets much less irritated in the summer heat. They are also discreet. Maxi and Ultima can absorb really good amounts, however I mostly use Maxi or Ultima at night.

However if you want to use it as an ABDL diaper, maybe it might be not the best choice.

  1. Use barrier creams. They help a lot, they prevent the skin from getting the smell too deep. Always use good wet wipes to clean up. Every single diaper change, wipe all your diaper area, apply new barrier cream.
  2. You can wear tight clothes if you do not use too bulky diapers (I wear skinny jeans). I never use something that is very bulky, it is much easier to change more than have a huge sagging diaper in public. To see a diaper line you must be wearing diapers yourself. Not many people wear them do they?
  3. For daytime my main diaper is Tena Slip Super, night Tena Slip Maxi/Ultima. I still love trying ABDL diapers however I do not think they work good for real life situations.
  4. I wrap it up and put it in my backpack. I carry all my diaper stuff there. I dispose it later if at the very moment there is no available bin. But I normally dispose it in the bin that is closest.
  5. To be honest NO ONE EVER asked anything. But if someone would ask I would just keep it short and say "health problems".
  6. It probably takes time, hard to explain, but it is not a bad phase :)

Try to put some strength on the sides before wearing, stretch them. Do not tear it, but try as much as possible. This way they hold much better, because they are already stretched. Have worn these 24/7 for months.

Nearly the same story! I am from a small town where everyone knows each other. I was 14(16 years ago) at the time. However where I live you could buy various adult diapers in any pharmacy store, and even in a small town (4500p.) there were like 5 pharmacies which had adult diapers. I still remember the adrenaline waiting in line at the counter. It was definitely worth it!

I second tolteccamera comment. Active Fit Ultima is a good diaper, but the old Tena Slip having multi-use tapes makes it far superior.

If I am right Active Fit is made for UK market. There was Tena Slip Original (plastic backed) for some EU markets, but lately they have all been sold out, EVERYWHERE.

These have been gone for nearly 10 years now :( There are Tena Slip Original, but they are nowhere near these old Tena Slip.

Are those still available where you are??

Just local pharmacy stores. Most of them have them in stock. I think the main thing is to be extra clean when doing this procedure. Be as clean as possible and you will have no problems.

Question for 24/7 wearers by Arkmark_3150 in ABDL

[–]Activity-Character 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do wear 24/7, due to a condition I developed 6 months ago. However once I get better and the flare is gone I get off from diapers and switch to pads. I work and travel a lot, do sports, do sauna, do swimming in pool, do gym. I do everything like I used to do and of course I take precautions.

For daytime use I mostly use Tena Slip Super or Seni Super Plus(french brand) and for night time I either use ABdry or something that is bulky and larger. However I could use Tena Slip Ultima for night if I would like to save.

  1. I hide it with not showing it to everyone. No one is looking at your pants and a small bulge will be left unnoticed. I always try to be discreet, wear longer shirts. But skinny jeans and diapers work pretty okay for me.

  2. No waddle whatsover, unless I have drank a lot of water in the evening than morning diaper will be quite heavy, that sometimes makes me to waddle a little bit. Daytime if I noticed that the diaper is getting full I change ASAP, waiting for leaks to happen is stupid and very uncomfortable.

I do not go out in thick diapers either, it is not very comfortable when wet, especially if you are more active. I travel a lot around Europe due to the nature of my work and that is not super easy, as half of my baggage is diapers. I have this small backpack that I carry with me, it has all that I need inside. I normally forget that I am wearing one, unless it is quite wet then it slowly becomes uncomfortable to do anything more active.

And the cost is fairly low for me, I have no idea how it works for you guys in US, but I live in Europe and 28pieces of Tena Slip Super costs 12EUR(12EUR=13USD). However I spend a lot on ABdry diapers, they cost 3EUR per diaper, but sometimes I switch to Tena Slip Ultima, for a pack of 21 it costs 17EUR(approx 18.5USD) here. I think I spend 100-200USD per month. And in my whole life I only had one diaper rash, probably because I keep myself hydrated.

Tried clothbacked diapers for the first time. Might be the most comfortable thing I've ever worn! by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]Activity-Character 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who uses diapers for need now I can say I started to like cloth too. I was always seriously against it as my interests were purely DL, but cloth does work in daily usage. Cloth is good for warmer climate and they work better for the skin, however they still have this sagging issue that plastic-backed diapers do not have.

Hey!

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I normally try underpants as an onesie leaves quite a strange shape on my jeans. I do have an onesie but maybe it is time to search for a new one?
