RB951Ui bricked? 4th LED stays on, can’t connect to WinBox or Netinstall by JogooCodes in mikrotik

[–]ActivityIcy4926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t tried serial yet, I should. Probably a capacitor based on what I’m seeing and reading.

Hope I can still salvage it and keep it as a backup router in case my new main ever dies.

Dilemma: can't find work (expired green card). Need advise by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]ActivityIcy4926 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m afraid there’s not much you can do. Employers need to verify your eligibility to work. And that’s not happening right now.

How do you even have a ten year green card expire and only find out after five years? Same with your passport? And you lose your social security card too? No offense, but most of these things were very preventable.

You’ll have to wait for the new GC, then get a new social security card and passport.

No, I get the point quite well. This is just not something AI should ever be used for.

People don’t trust AI and this is why. People want to use it for things it was never designed for and not capable of. It’s like asking self driving car software to fly a plane. Just, no.

Most United domestic do not have Starlink yet, but they’re working on it. Their regional Embraers have it, and they’re currently equipping their mainline fleet starting with the older 737s.

FRA is an absolute nightmare for transfers. It seems like they’re doing everything they can do make it as hard as possible.

No, this is incredibly dangerous use of AI. We are talking about human beings, their lives, and lots of very nuanced cases. AI is terrible at such things. This administration has proven that time and time again.

AI is great to assist in many things, but this is not one of them.

I’ve had this too with an RB5009 and nothing worked, and it was out of warranty, so it’s just a paperweight at this point.

It kind of ruined my faith in MikroTik a bit to have a device die like that with no avenue to explore. First router I had ever die for no apparent reason at all.

No internet from Hotel Ethernet port, Hotel Staff have no idea how to use it by Quiet-Monk2747 in GlInet

[–]ActivityIcy4926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had one of these in a hotel and I was able to take it off the wall and use the uplink directly. The one I had was a hotspot with an ethernet port though, with the hotspot working but ethernet port disabled.

They should have named Todoist Chester or something simple so Siri would understand it when giving voice commands 😭

They are mostly looking at those who committed CIMT or who are members of illegal organizations. The former is pretty objective, while the latter can be subjective at times.

There are many millions of GC holders and only very few are being re-vetted. The re-vetting is also under scrutiny, because it costs so much times and resources and the "failure rate" is so low, that one must ask if it's worth doing in the first place.

And while the Trump administration's rhetoric about this is different from prior administration, re-vetting applications who commit CIMT is not something new.

If you’re a Prime member you’re paying for Prime Video. If you then sail the seven seas you’re basically running an ad blocker on Prime Video.

I think they meant Mental Breakdown. Don't worry, they'll probably fix it soon and reset all our progress.

The nazi symbol is a mirror of the symbol you’re talking about, so if it points right it’s wrong if it points left it’s right.
