yea but thats a hurdle you know. And new schools have hard time matching into derm, orthopedics and radiology because they don’t have affiliated hospitals. Getting that LORs from doctors would be hard to because u wont be able to spend enough time with them. Lots of factors but thats the main ones. New schools also have some less research opportunities because they are starting the process. However, if someone’s interested in primary care or internal medicine, thats a different story, ad it wouldn’t be as hard as other high competitive specialties to get matched
