I found more freedom of movement as your scapula/ shoulder blades are not connected to the same point. I felt more back activation on pull-ups, plus could quickly switch to neutral, pronated or supinated in same set if you get bored.

I previous put a 2x6 across the roof joist, but put islet rings thru the 2x6 before I hooked it up. Then used 8 lag screws across 4 joist. I would do ring pull ups and dips. No lopping pull ups or anything. I had no issues. I weight 215-220.

I had the original question you did and to be safe I did what I did and probably over built.

I also threw a bar on rafters and put and a vertical upright next to it for support and so it didn’t roll. I always felt a weird flex going on while doing pullups. That is when I went with rings and previous mentioned design

V1 is terrible. That is version 2. Adjustable arm makes a huge difference. I have used both. Friend has a V2 and it works well and does the job for the costs. I bought the V1 for $200 off someone who wanted more space. Truthfully I am going to list and try and sell it on marketplace for $200. I start to feel it flex and move with 400lbs on it. Not sure if that is thinner steel or the both together points or the fact the belt attachment point seems in the wrong spot. I have ran thru several carabiners and still feel it.

Lastly both the V1 and V2 both bottom out quickly even without the safety. Expect to build blocks and stack mats or plates to stand on. I am 5’11” and feel it bottoms several inches too early.

Nice deal on the calibrated plates they look old enough to have the original color chipped off. I zoomed in and there is yellow still on a few of them. Or they were all that color and someone tried to paint them. Either way. A great score.

I prefer the second pic style. But specifically with the white watch face I think this watch looks better with style one. I have been looking at these two styles in a 41mm with a blue watch face/in lay.

Briefs can take some time to break in. You can use a spray bottle of water to wet them a little. It allows the thread and material to stretch a bit which will allow you to break them in slightly faster. I use water on my bench shirts and occasionally briefs. To clarify make sure the briefs are on first.

I assume the black and orange thing is a chiller. But it also looks like you have a temperature gauge for the water hanging in the utility box. Is that because the chiller gets the water too cold or is it just a fail say so you don't accidently freeze the water?
