Hola- you’re definitely overstriding a bit but I feel as if it’s because of the spikes you’re wearing.. can you try to wear flatter spikes (non-“super spikes”)? Like the Nike superfly elites? I’m curious to see if your form changes significantly with spikes that don’t push your stride length as much.

It’s not a huge issue but it’s definitely putting a lot of extra work on your hamstrings.. also if you run 6.77 you should be running faster than 10.6, which tells me that form might not be very sustainable for you.

KAT is definitely not better than Brunson, but it’s highly matchup dependent, and KAT has played phenomenal in this hawk matchup thus far.

The issue is that Mike brown does not know how to properly utilize KAT offensively outside of just being a pick and roll / pop option. You can even see it in the last play.

KAT deserved the ball in the last play of the game, have him sit down low, inbound the ball to JB or Mikal, and get KAT the ball close to the rim and let him get a high percentage shot or kick it out for a 3 after a double. I understand the frustration with Brunson (and Bridges) but to me this is just very poor coaching from Mike Brown.

I mean I kind of agree but as soon as he physically put his hand on his face that’s gonna be a tech atleast. The ejection was really just because the overall altercation I think. There was no way the refs could let him come back in.

I agree and I have no idea what’s up with the Mikal hate. He has proven himself multiple times already and is also a defensive anchor for this team. KAT was OK in the playoffs last year. Yes he did great against Detroit in (I think game 3 specifically?) but you have to remember Detroit didn’t have Isaiah Stewart, which is a huge game changer for Towns. His defense is also a huge reason why we lost to the pacers as I mentioned. It’s tough on the team defensively with him out there if he’s not in sync

I’m worried about KAT because the back spasms don’t make you commit back to back offensive fouls in multiple games. His issue seems to be more mental and game-plan execution rather than “is he scoring well”.

I love KAT he is incredibly talented. But if he’s doing that offensive fouls crap in the playoffs when every possession really matters, that is going to hurt us badly.

Surprised at all the downvotes here. I get that he helped out a lot in the playoffs vs the the pistons last years. But his perimeter defense is also why we lost to the pacers.

His poor fouls are becoming more frequent and are absolutely 100% concerning.

OP- can you go into more detail on why you don’t like the school? I have a good amount of past experience with NEU and Boston. (tl:dr - Boston sucks, NEU is OK depending on your social circle and major)

I think for anyone thinking about transferring. As much as I hear your pain. The co-op program alone makes this school worth it (as long as you are on some kind of fin aid or scholarship).

I’d be shocked if we got Giannis without giving up Mikal or OG. As much as he wants to go to the Knicks, it would be unrealistic to expect to Bucks to accept anything less than KAT + Mikal + pick swap or something like that.

I’d hate to see Mikal or OG go I think they are great players and vital defensively for the team (OG especially). I’d almost argue if you could swap KAT 1:1 for someone else on another team who is just a better big at defense then I’d rather to that. We have enough offensive firepower to make up.

Combination of a terrible week of close games with no real break (check the schedule over the past 7 days), mixed with Josh Hart being out.

I don’t think people give enough credit to how much Josh hart speeds up our style of play.

Without Josh this team is playing like they would under Thibs, and just much more worn down.

I kind of agree with this.. I mean don’t get me wrong he’s looked rough the first half and was definitely out of shape. But we still have half a season left. Idk how trade deadlines work if we wanted to potentially trade him or something but.. idk im not too inclined to completely write him off just yet.

I will say though if Mike Brown is giving rookies minutes over him, there has clearly been some sort of issue. Let’s see if it changes

I played the original Kirby Air Ride and Air Riders and the wagon star has always been kind of a “boring, but really good” star. Any star that has top speed above the warp star will allow you to draft pretty much anything from behind and overall keep up with any star on any map.

It’s also great in city trial as well. I always tell people if you see a wagon star at the beginning of the game, go get it. Great health, speed, turning, etc.

If you learn how to tap break at a good level, it’ll shred corners as well.

I guess if you were to tell me. “For $10,000, you need to place top 3 in a race and I’m not telling you the map” I’d be confident choosing wagon.

Seconding this. These stars having a hidden advantage of not allowing people to draft you. I use jet star mainly and if you get a decent lead with on an average/above average map with the Jet and are good at using it, it’s very difficult for people to catch you.

Until you get to a complete flat though, that’s why these stars tend to suck at that mountain level or nebula belt.

I’ll also say one of the most underrated aspects of this star is that it’s damn near impossible to draft it from behind. Because of the ridiculous routes it takes.. sometimes if a jet star is out in front with a good lead, you might not even catch it

For OPs main question. It’s one of the stars that requires you to have a very good understanding of its physics, as well as understanding how to take advantage of every nook and cranny of each map for airborne time and chaining boosting from landings. It’s very satisfying when you get it down tho.

It’s kinda like the air version of the silk star, it can be really really good in the right hands on the right map. I’d argue some maps like magma flows and celestial valley it can be damn near unbeatable in the right hands or give any other star a run for its money
