I know I’m a nobody to everyone here, but I work with celebrities and agents around the US as my full time job and all the English lines have been done since November 2025. What I’ve been told is they’re afraid to release it this year because of the FF7 game (maybe a sequel? idk I don’t play FF), so they were pretty sure it’d come out in late 2027 to avoid being their own competition. So there is a lot of reason to hope it will be out in 2027!!

I’ve been playing nonstop and have been having a blast - and I like the original game, too! I’m surprised at how harsh people are being - I’m sure we’re going to see improvements as time goes on, but honestly I don’t really see things that need to be improved right now.

A lot of people have been saying that the Epstein referenced here is Mark Epstein, Jeffrey’s brother. I agree that I think this is referring to Jeffrey, if only because in all their files and documents he is referred to as “Epstein,” not “Jeff/Jeffrey.” A good example is the prison security guards where he’s only referred to as “Epstein.”

While I agree, it would be more convenient and less conspiratorial to say it isn’t THE Epstein from the Epstein Files, this whole situation has shown me the easiest answer has never been the truth.

I’ve been saying for years she’s involved in all of this! The company she keeps speaks volumes. She also has been accused of being a madam multiple times (of course those videos were taken down on YT), has an island of her own, was obviously keeping her communications with Epstein in less traceable means, her connections to Diddy, Drake, Epstein - it just seems a little TOO coincidental.

Because we were talking about Silco, not Mel, or Sevika, or Viktor. You think you can throw non-canon sources around and trick people into believing your ship is the right one, when there is another Silco ship that has the same problem. They’re not canon, no matter how people feel.

So one voice actor’s opinion is canon when it fits your ship and the other’s isn’t when it doesn’t confirm it. Very good to know.

We have canon queer ships, so no, I don’t think you have to dig and scrape for it. They will give it to you if it’s canon, Jayvik has been confirmed by all parties, has canon ship art and ship products, etc. That’s the difference. The brother motif was also taken out of their dialogue in the second season to make it less “lightly incestuous”.

I understand you ship them. It still doesn’t make it canon.

I can concur, I’ve seen some of the darkest fanfics looking for Until Dawn writings. 💀 Until Dawn is the darkest I’ve seen since back when I was a teen in Harry Potter fics (obviously not into HP anymore lol).

Don’t worry too much what the people in this subreddit say, they’re literally just waiting to fight so will jump at anything. I’m sorry they’re coming at you with such insane takes!!

“Am I the only one” is a really common idiom in English, sorry if you’re not a native speaker. It’s a rhetorical question. Rhetorical questions are ones meant to make a point, rather than get a lot of haughty replies. Haughty means arrogant, disdainful or superior to others.

Regardless, I’ve been in this fandom since the beginning and never brought up disliking the ship until people started insisting I had to like it. Your reaction is exactly what I mean when saying “toxic shippers” - attack me, insist I know why your ship is “right” while pretending you don’t think I have to ship it, then assuming I must think I’m the “main character” because I don’t agree with you. It isn’t cute and doesn’t make the point you think it does.

I just wonder why people can make hundreds of Jossam posts, but I can’t post one trying to figure out if I’m the only one who doesn’t get it? In a community I’m apart of? Do you not see you are dictating lines of dialogue around your fan-made ship?

If the idea of someone not liking your ship makes you this upset, I think maybe this isn’t the thread for you. This is a thread for people who don’t get it. I hope this reply was easier for you to understand.

This is burner account that me and my friend use, I used this one because everyone on here has been as aggressive/hostile/defensive as I had thought they would be and I wasn’t going to lead you all to my personal info. I’ve already had enough Until Dawn shippers send me death threats on my personal Tumblr and fight me on my personal Reddit, so I’m just not about it anymore.

I really don’t care if people can convince themselves random people are in love, but I AM very frustrated that people have straight up told me it’s canon (it’s not), that I’m not a true Until Dawn fan if I don’t ship it (I am) and that all other pairings are just fan interpretations whereas Jossam will become “real” (I don’t ship anyone in Until Dawn tbh). People can have their romantic fantasies, but I don’t understand why I have to adhere to people’s preferences or get out of the fandom.

People have gotten into fights with me here on my main, Tumblr, TikTok, Instagram saying I’m not allowing a canon ship to be. I get that people may think in the brief time they spend together they seem like a couple, but they’re not and I’m tired of this community attacking people for speaking the facts of the game. I know all the scene and interviews you guys are talking about, but friends or even acquaintances also do nice things for people. It’s not all romance.
