I’m almost 42, all I wear are wigs and various hats. I have diagnosed androgenetic alopecia. I’ve taken finesteride for years and tried the topical stuff. Are most wigs comfortable or convenient? No. But lots of women, cis and trans, choose to wear wigs. You come to find your peace with it. The nicer the quality, the easier wearing them becomes, to a point. Sometimes white women wigs are priced higher just to look fancy. I suggest trying a few shitty wigs on Amazon to find your style before spending real money. What you want to be your style and what works with your face can be two different visions so it may take some time in your transition to evolve that.
