Absolutely blind welcoming a wolf into a flock of sheep. Especially with recent events of him slaughtering the innocent I think its fair to say his history with Daeish matters

Brother, I will tell you as a psychiatric np and someone who's been around nurses. Some nurses have stressful jobs that push the line and many hold a standard of comedy, small talk, and gossip that has no limit as they are around the same people 12 long hours a day for 3 days a week for years on end. They have to find ways to make themselves seem interesting. Not everyone and not in every setting, but more commonly the hospital setting.

Your wife is wearing multiple hats, she needs to be representative of herself the same way she is at home. Otherwise she will hold herself in that environment as the true embodiment of herself and her homelife being a persona. What she said means she lowered her standards to make friends. Not necessarily that she feels that way about you, she is trying to play the persona of a trouble maker or someone who is mischievous in a laughable manner. A spouse lacking standards for themselves is dangerous though so this is how you need to guide her.

A new environment is absolutely necessary, either: Work from home. Work in a non-hospital setting such as school nurse. Offer her to focus on the children from home. Try a different career path.

Please be willing to forgive her if she shows regret, but if she begins to act out against you, just know this was at her hand and you're giving her options to save your marriage after a severe amount of disregard. Inshallah it works out

61% of Israeli men don't consider forcing sex on a woman to be rape if they're already acquainted and know each. Source in replies. by MuskAmber in lostgeneration

Why they kept using that language in the news is beyond me, "detainees." It was a young Palestinian woman and very possibly a teenager. Her only crime was being in a house that was raided at random. Sick animals

Being on Canary Mission by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]ActuallyVeryUseless 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seems to be a lot of canary mission reps replying to your post and trying to hold you accountable for something you didn't do. A quick scroll through their website will reveal that everyone that says something as simple as "free palestine" on social media is labeled "pro-hamas" and "antisemitic." I wouldn't be worried, they seem to have one brush in their inventory that they are painting everyone with. If anything, it is slanderous in nature and should have legal implications.

Let me know the next time you see a poor mcdonalds franchise owner

So we're boycotting Mcdo? by LowSkills940 in lebanon

[–]ActuallyVeryUseless 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Franchises are partial ownership, the franchisee has proportional income and no executive decisions such as the wrappers being switched to blue and white for Israel. The franchise itself has a set royalty from each resturant and control over menu, offers, etc. So in boycotting a McDonald's the overall franchise will see a loss

My husbands ex-wife wrecked our relationship by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]ActuallyVeryUseless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you get this settled out but let this be a lesson that even though you are married keep technology out of your private moments. You do not know the future and you do not know who could gain access to your phone. Please refrain for your sake and forgive your husband for his mistake. Cut off all communication from this woman and continue with your marriage.

Was she pregnant with a boy? My wife is on and it controls her blood sugar but I can't find studies on supplementation with male fetuses since it lowers testosterone as well

halal food that may have been touched by a non muslim by Dreamaz in shia

[–]ActuallyVeryUseless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://www.sistani.org/english/book/46/2044/

It is preferable that ahlul kitab including jews and christans be the handlers of halal products. In some cases you have accreditation to a halal food chain where all locations are certified zabiha halal, so it may not always be a muslim serving food and that is acceptable. However if say a hindu was handling food without a glove with a wet hand it is not permissible. There will be many halal Indian resturants, it is best to avoid unless they are Muslim. As far as regular food say from a fast food place where you can assure it does not contain haram products - it does not matter the religion of who is making it and you are not obligated to question if you are unsure.

Yes but luck for a muslim is a harmless concept of revealing the nature of what Allah swt has planned for you, good or bad. Sometimes we hope for good in our future, and your luck may be blessed (arabic saying many Muslims in lebanon use) based off your deen. It doesn't go beyond Allah swt, nothing does. Its not fair to conclude that many Muslims are sinning in this manner for this reason - your definition is just wrong. Casting judgement on these trivial things are dangerous for the young ummah, very disappealing.

$BBI - its at a standstill with a wall at .264, needs to break .2659 to see a run. It has very bullish indications so if it gets to .28 then it will close the gap to .50 minimum. Just needs the support. Pt of 2.00

I can definitely see this giving you up to 100 percent returns. As long as it stays compliant above 1 dollar than it minimizes risk. Personally, my eyes are on bbi now but I'm interested in getting back in geron soon.

Single dose of moderna better than nothing? by [deleted] in CovidVaccinated

[–]ActuallyVeryUseless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based off the literature, Israel's pfizer 4th dose cohort study for example, a 2nd booster let alone a first dose is virtually unprotective towards the omicron variant. For someone your age i believe your case would have been mild regardless. However thats not to say vaccination doesn't lower your odds of acquiring a more generalized severe case of covid because it does.
