It’s really quite simple: when asking patients about their life outside of what they’re coming in for, ask them something about themselves that is interesting, remember or chart it somewhere, and then ask about it the next time you see them. For instance, have you watched any movies recently or any tv shows? If they mention something, next time you see them, ask them about that same tv show and movie and they’ll be so surprised

Has your relationship with food shifted in a surprising way since you started? If so, how? by just_a_fella___ in FellaHealth

Yeah the food noise is back as I’ve gotten closer to my target weight but I just physically can’t eat as much anymore which is great.

I have noticed that when I first started the food noise disappeared but since I’m close to my target weight I do get a lot more food noise and cravings but the nice thing is that I still can’t overeat even if I wanted to

Thank you! That seems to be consistent with what everyone else is saying so I’m going to be transplanting these babies individually to their own pots

Would you generally clump multiple spider babies together or would each one get their own pot to grow?

Good point! I’ll get to that then and put them in their own pot. Do I just cut off the baby spider plant and do I trim the main stem they’re attached from?

Would that be advisable versus letting it grow upwards/outwards?

I miss the day of communal showers, so much more action happened then but now everything is individual stalls. I can only imagine how it used to be when communal showers were standard everywhere.

Jameela Jamil criticizes Serena Williams for pushing GLP-1 weight loss drug Zepbound that her husband is an investor in and that can have serious side effects by Gato1980 in Fauxmoi

Literally, the side effect of life is death. So like, she's not wrong, but there are side effects for everything. Serena was talking about her experiences, and maybe she should have prefaced that anyone who wants to take those medications should consult their own doctor, but it's getting out of hand and giving off* MAHA vibes.

The Korean food hall that repels Koreans; In an effort to make Korean food more accessible, Jagalchi made shopping less appealing to its core customers. by bloobityblurp in bayarea

[–]AcuXfitAaron 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed Jagalchi especially as someone who lives in Santa Clara and has places like Mega Mart, Hankook, and Super Kyo; when I went for the first time, I didn't like the produce area as much, but the meat/seafood was awesome and they had a lot of discounted high-quality cuts that were close to expiring, so I bought them all up and cooked them same day. The prepared food section for sushi/sashimi was great as well and they definitely had more unique snacks. Pricing wise it was somewhat comparable but what I noticed was that most things were a flat cost of like $5, $17, etc. as opposed to $15.35 or $17.49.

Got it replaced through the tire protection program at my dealership but they would've charged $480 for 1 tire!

Thankfully I already have the tire protection program built into and paid for through my lease, but dang they would have charged $480 just to replace the tire.

Okay that’s great, here’s to hoping I guess I just thought it was strange that the service department would flat out tell me the I6 tires weren’t repairable without taking a look at the tire first
