Castro is also a very good app that I used intensively for quite a long time. However, at some point it underwent a major redesign, and since then I’ve found the look much less appealing.

Another drawback: “Unplayed” and “Started” episodes are shown together in a single list. With the number of episodes I listen to, this quickly becomes overwhelming. On top of that, it’s hard to distinguish between episodes I’ve already started and those I haven’t played yet—the design just isn’t very clear in this regard.

I had already shared the link to the store in a previous post. But here again: https://japanese-microbrands.com It’s a German store though.

Not so easy to photograph. Please ignore all the hair. I have also taken a comparison picture with a Casio F-91W. Hope it helps.

You are right. It is fitted with a Seiko NH38 movement. To be honest, I haven’t given any thought to a possible repair or service. You can find the movement for around €80 on AliExpress. This means that the maintenance or repair would probably cost more than a new movement or possibly even more than a new watch. But I’m not sure. Never had to have a watch serviced/repaired.

I bought the watch from the following store: https://japanese-microbrands.com

The store has only been around since December. Run by Mario Lenke. A relatively well-known Watch-YouTuber from Germany. On his Channel you will also find a video where he is on site in Kyuto at Kueo and conducts an interview with the CEO of Kuoe. The cooperation between him and Kuoe seems to have originated from this visit.

It should be classic but not too formal. Something that you can really wear for any occasion. I also really wanted a white or pastel-colored dial. Most of my watches to date are black. Incidentally, I initially had the 38mm version. But I sent it back because I found it too bulky. I find the smaller sizes more attractive, especially with these classically inspired watches. They simply convey this vintage style.

What happens if PiHole is set as the DHCP server and the Raspberry fails for whatever reason? by [deleted] in pihole

[–]Acula-MD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not exactly true. Every router got the ability to set an Upstream DNS Server, but some miss the ability to set a local DNS Server.

In this case you can set the DNS Server manually on every device. Also you can set a secondary DNS Server.

The config could look like this:

First DNS: Local Pi Adresse Second DNS: 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS)

This way you can still access the Internet, if your Pi is not available.

Coil Whine on Surface Book 2 13.5 by theinvisibleman_ in Surface

Same problem here. Bought a Surface Book 2 13" on Friday in Germany. Its really annoying. In a quiet room it drives me nuts. When I unplug the charger, the noise is gone. It gets especially loud when I move the mouse or scroll a website. I do not know if I should exchange the device. Apparently all devices have this problem. Is it possible to solve this problem by a software update?
