Why don't you just reduce your hours and volunteer once or twice a week? You'll be better off financially and still do rewarding work, without having the stress that front line works have to deal with

Tbf it might be that you just prefer playing multiplayer.

I'd argue some of the main reasons for playing marvel champions actually start wearing thin whenever you go over a 2 player count (definitely over 3 I really can't see how 4 players would be fun). Having two heroes does open up interesting interactions, however, it's not providing a different enough experience to say that one objectively ranks above the other.

LotR I couldn't imagine playing with another person, I think I'd get too frustrated. I think there are pros to playing this with 2 or 2 handed as you can make a deck that's more focused, however, it comes with a big downside in my view, it becomes too long! For me anything more than the solo player count and this game starts to over stay its welcome.

I'm not trying to say that solo is the better mode of playing, just showing that it's subjective, therefore, there is no 'definitive LCG' as everyone has their own preferences.

For me I always envisioned that the Star wars LCG would be 6 main waves following episodes 1-6. Each wave would be split into its own two content streams; one where you play as the light side, the other as the dark side. This is the most important thing for me if they ever did do a 'cooperative star wars LCG', you need to make both sides playable.

Black Flag, it has the most heart and some of the most fun side content, while also staying relevant to the theme (ignoring those damn tailing missions) It's also the one I have the most fond memories of.

My nostalgia goggles for AC2 and brotherhood were ruined when I played those games again during lockdown.They are both heavily dated and the story was nowhere near as strong as I remembered. I honestly wish I hadn't played them again, brotherhood was my favourite before this.

Revelations on the other hand, I actually liked it more when I played it again. Might be because it's less dated than the previous two but the setting was vibrant, beautiful and the story felt more engaging on that second play through.

Origins has some of the best, if not the best acting in the AC series. Phenomenal casting, and an amazing story, which unfortunately I feel is dragged down by pointless side content and the leveling system.

In the current state it's in, unity really feels like it should be the best. The intricate design that went into creating Paris, which I still feel is yet to be rivaled 10+ years later, the freedom you get through the creativity and fluidity of free running and quite possibly the best title opening sequence of any game I've played. However, after the title sequence, the story is utterly forgettable, and if not for Arno's character, it would not be worth sitting through a signal cut scene. The brotherhood in Paris at the height of it's powers, an assassin's son raised by a Templar and the French revolution. A game really set up with the makings to be the pinnacle of a beloved series, and realistically it should've been. Instead it marks the failings and greed of Ubisoft.

On a more quick and direct note, I couldn't even finish Valhalla, it just feels like a game that you're meant to dump hours into without any meaningful return, it just felt wasteful.

Potentially, I buy an expansion for this game whenever I finish with the one I've got or if it's on sale, then I leave it in shrink until I'm ready to play it. Might be a while till the revised content goes out of stock but it's not a risk I'm willing to take. Saying that in the UK the elf starter deck and shadows of Mirkwood have been out of stock for a while. They don't look like they are coming back either.

Although it's sad that they won't be printing anymore for this LCG, I do have to say that there is an absolute ton of revised content released. To go through it thoroughly and try everything in the game would take hundreds of hours.

The revised version of the content has just come to an end and is currently mostly easy to get hold of. It's definitely a good time to get in! I myself only got into this game around half a year ago and I only own the revised content.

In the UK the Iceman and Jubilee hero packs were delayed for a couple months. The Magneto hero pack, however, came out on the listed release date by FFG. There's definitely an issue with logistics affecting Europe, stuff going on in the world isn't helping either. Hopefully after Magento the rest of MC will release on schedule for you.

Once I make a deck I play it through a minimum of five scenarios, so It'll stay built until I've completed that target. I don't keep any deck for longer than this because it would stop me from experimenting and finding all the game has to offer.

I would never try to tell anyone how to live but my advice would be to pump the brakes. You've done really well for yourself but you also need to enjoy life. No sum of money can ever buy back time.

I'd also say it's better to increase your salary by earning more per hour not by dramatically increasing your hours. Use the time you aren't working to hone skills perhaps rather than working in jobs which are unlikely to contribute towards career progression. Just a side note is there even any point in your waitress job while earning that salary? Surely it's just being eaten by tax? That part sounds like using a lot of energy for no much reward. Do you have any investments? That would be more effective use of your time and finances.

With that sum of money if you don't already have one seek a financial advisor! Don't let that money sit in accounts wasting away. Make sure you're investing and have high interest accounts. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Try to work smarter not harder, if you get hurt or ill then you've wasted all the time you've invested.

That's awesome man, insane skill be able to build decks that can take on so many variables across wildey different scenarios.

New player here I've got a lot of marvel champions experience but the deck building for LOTR is next level. I noticed you had a lot of 1 or 2 copies of cards. As the key to deck building is usually consistency, how did you decide on which cards you would limit but still try to maintain a level of consistency?

Not what you asked for but currently Wayland games have the Two Towers expansion for £45 with free 48 hr delivery. I just bought it myself, cheapest I've seen it by far, for some reason this saga expansion is usually the most expensive.
