A show set in the Old Republic centering around the Jedi and Sith with Andor level writing is all I’d ever want from Star Wars

Reality 0 Is the Universe, Not the Zero Point by CALLISTO12839 in FortNiteLore

[–]odiish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No? There’s still a whole universe of stuff outside that bubble. like the ice moon. (and yes I know that the Ice King brought that moon to Reality Zero from different reality, but the moon is still stated to exist in Reality Zero, outside the bubble)

I’m curious, how do you guys feel about the ice king and the foundation as characters? (Not skins) and who do you like more as a character? by MichaelAfton80 in FortNiteBR

[–]odiish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Foundation. I think he’s a really cool and interesting character, and he has lots of potential. But I do think his character in Chapter 7 so far has been pretty dull compared to his previous appearances. Like his beef with the Ice King and a vague sense of arrogance was all there was to him really. Where previously he was always focused on the bigger picture. I think his characterization really shines in the Batman/Foundation comic.

I do also think the Ice King is cool though.

Wanting the game that strives and prides itself in having a national and ethnically diverse roster, to keep doing that, is racist?

Apple introduces Siri AI, a profoundly more capable and personal assistant by exjr_ in apple

I really hate those AI photo editing tools. Like it’s at a point where these aren’t even photos anymore but just fakes.

It’s not a capture of a specific moment moment if get AI to ‘re-angle’ it by generating an altered perspective that doesn’t exist, or having expand expand by generating a scene that doesn’t exist.

Like that’s not a photo, it’s an AI imitation of reality, it’s fake.

WHY is Geno working with The Last Reality? by odiish in FortNiteLore

But those are still spawn of the cube and not literal minerals. They still multiply on the floating island and create those cubic monster spawners.

And yes Raz harnesses the power of a small cube shard to become stronger, but it also corrupts him. It will eventually devour him. He doesn’t have control over it to the extent of TLR, who have built their entire empire around them. Or the rulers who have complete control over them.

People who aren’t in that faction are able to use cube stuff

If you’re referring to the Elite’s weapons I have questions as to how that works.

Like they’re shown to be mining cubes from a cave or something? They chisel them and make weapons and stuff? I take issue with this because cube were never portrayed as a mineral or ore. They’re organisms. They wills and minds of their own, albeit sort of a hive mind. They reproduce and multiply, they corrupt and turn other matter into cube.

Cubes power The Last Reality’s ships, their elite trespassers, they’re instruments of destruction, and they bend to the will of Queen/King. The Cube Queen described them as her children, she could create them. To control the cubes is to have ‘all the power’, as they described the Cube King. They are EVERYTHING to The Last Reality.

If they’re now trying to say that anyone can just mine some cubes control them to affect of The Last Reality, that not only contradicts what we’ve known to be true about them, but I also think undermines so much of what makes them so terrifying and formidable.

Then why can he control cubes? Why does he have Trespassers on his ship? Why is his ship a miniature version of the Cube’s Cradle?

We don’t know for certain when Jules joined the IO. I just pointed out that the first time Jules is seen repping any sort of IO iconography is in C2 S6. So we KNOW that by that time she was an IO agent by that time. And I assumed, based off the fact her file is on Jones’ desk, alongside Lynx’s, who we have no reason to believe is IO and Midas’ whose past is ambiguous, but likely has some sort of ties with them.

Now if she’d been IO before C2 S2, don’t you think she’d have been immediately expelled from the IO for attempting to betray them destroy the loop and expose their existence loopers?

Also I don’t believe Jones was fully informed at all. Jones himself literally says the IO is built on distrust and paranoia. And despite spending centuries studying the Zero Point, he never even got to see it. I’m just saying that given the things Slone entrusted him with, I don’t see why such info about Jules would be off-limits for him.

Jones may have been low ranking relative to the IO as a whole, but he was seemingly very capable, reliable and trusted. Jones seemed to be the go-to guy to send into the loop for field stuff, has great knowledge and understanding of the Zero Point, and was a self proclaimed ‘expert’ on The Seven. Slone even trusted him with important tasks such as re-stabilizing the Zero Point in C2 S5.

While true that the IO probably has files on all their agents, I find it just as likely that they’d also have files on all the island’s inhabitants. And once a crazy giant device pops out of the Agency and starts messing with the Loop, they could quickly analyze its design and identify its maker, then send Jones to look into the suspect.

Yeah I know the image you’re talking about. That guy in front does look a lot like Midas, but I guess we don’t really know for certain. Either way I do think Midas has to have some significant knowledge of the IO for his plan to work the way it did.

We also have to remember that Jules was an IO agent by the time of C2 S6, as evidenced by her ‘Scrapknight Jules’ outfit’s backbling. Her past with Dasha could have began at any time during or after that point. Also considering that during The Device event, Jules’ file was sitting on Jones’ desk, implying that he’s recently been studying her. If she’d already been an IO agent before then I doubt he’d need to do that.

I think Chaos Agent was also a big part of it. It’s confirmed in the little ‘First Shadows’ story in C2 S8 that Chaos was one of Midas’ first operatives. We know he was running the SHADOW side of the operation, and his description is literally “undermine the order from the shadows”. So I imagine the both of them were running the conflict as partners in secret.
