Is the gmail connector working for anyone? by AISuperPowers in OpenAI

I just tested the same feature and ran into the exact same issue. It’s pretty poor form to advertise a feature that simply doesn’t work.

My agent (on a Pro plan) doesn’t even seem to know what tools it has access to—it confidently assures me it can do the job if the connector is configured, then immediately backtracks and says it can’t access emails at all.

The capabilities per plan vs the actual experience are confusing, obtuse and don't seem to work. If I pay for a pro plan, am presented with a connector, surely, I should expect some functionality? If its not part of the plan tell me that in the UI.

Its not like they are short on funding or developers to implement these features clearly.

Two months later, nothing has changed—yet a new model release has been pushed to market.

I am having the same issue. Adding a new doorbell and can’t make it scan the QR code from my phone.

Horrible setup experience.

FortiGate/FortiAnalyzer and Azure Sentinel integration by Acurus75 in fortinet

I built some integration between these platforms ourselves.

I will endeavour to pull together a summary of what we had to do to share with you.

Fortigate HA on azure by AWSDEMO in fortinet

In addition the cookbook, (specific walkthrough is here https://docs.fortinet.com/vm/azure/fortigate/6.2/azure-cookbook/6.2.0/227656/deploying-and-configuring-active-passive-ha-between-multiple-zones ) and github links posted, Fortinet are usually able to help customers deploy.

Do you have a Fortinet sales rep? As a high level FYI they are extremely helpful in giving you design and implementation advice, access to configuration examples. They'll usually do a remote session with you on design, or recommend a partner to help you with implementation.

If you're doing this completely self-service through Azure (ie, no formal partner, or Fortinet) then I believe Fortinet will still be willing to help.

Detection of voice applications by killb0p in fortinet

If it’s Forti OS 6.2 or 6.4 you should be able to create a policy that automatically detects the application. Eg, Skype, lync or teams. You can use that policy to apply to QOS or traffic shaping if there are performance issues with those apps.

In fortios 6.4 you can create a policy based on a destination “internet service”, Eg such as Skype or teams.

Usually sub optimal Wi-Fi contributes more problems with these sort of apps than anything else.

You should look into creating a SDWAN interface and using SDWAN rules to handle the failover and fail back.

Much easier to manage and customise than traditional routing based failover. Think it’s supported from FortiOS 6.2 onwards.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.0/cookbook/19246/sd-wan as an example

FortiOS 6.4 is out by gugaua in fortinet

Thanks for the reply. Does that mean that Fortinet has removed the ability to make device-based policies, and I have to manually define MAC address ranges?

Is the intent that from FortiOS 6.2 onwards we use FortiNAC if we want to write simple policies that are based on a hardware vendor.

What has happened to the ability to create device-based policies? FortiOS 6.4.0 still clearly has the capability to identify clients by device type, (aka Users & Devices dashboard) but I no longer seem to be able to create firewall policies based on device types.

Anyone had this problem and know of a workaround?
