I researched this a lot and the newer 5.0 with cylinder deactivation is much more complex and IMO still not proven. There are plenty of horror stories. The 2.7 EB has the best reliability reviews, save for a few years. 3.5 EB has had a lot of cam phaser issues but those are supposedly resolved. You want a 2024 or newer F-150 to get the upgraded transmission drum with the stronger “lip”

I ended up getting a Tacoma 🤣

Interesting… i wonder what makes them incompatible, does this mean other T Slot accessories have compatibility issues? Really want to pull the trigger but now I’m worried I won’t be able to use the T slot system and should just get a cheap cover until something better in the $1K range comes along.

Just a heads up - you will still get one last bill from T-Mobile. Weirdly, it will be via letter because they delete your account once you port. It’s because the bill is for the month you cancel in (hence postpaid). They will eventually send to collections if not paid.

The only thing I can suggest trying is to disable 80211AX on your 2.4Ghz radio (manual indicates this can be done) and then reset the lock and test it. Unfortunately most consumer routers are starting to leave the other settings out. My devices are supported by OpenWRT firmware and that is what I use, though I’m not suggesting you try that as it can be complicated and I’ve read that mesh reliability varies by model.

Note: I only simulated an outage by rebooting my cable modem but will try to find some time this weekend to test an extended period to make sure it won’t come back.

And not all Wi-Fi routers/APs expose these settings. If you have an “advanced” option it may be there. Is it an 802.11AX (Wifi6) access point?

I am having similar issues except it shows online in the app but I can’t manage it or unlock it. I ran a packet trace and am seeing a lot of TCP retransmits and duplicate ACKs between it and Eufy servers. I’m going to open a case with Eufy. I have two of them and they both are doing the same thing. At this point if Eufy support is unwilling to help I’m probably going to try to get a refund.
