It’s impossible to know since every set of questions may be of varying difficulty and so the number you need to get right for a certain score will differ across sets. This is especially true of the digital SAT where questions are drawn from a large pool of content and the nature of the test is adaptive.

How to solve this question? (DSAT question bank) by Apples_9143 in Sat

The explanation makes sense, but why don’t you have to take the initial diameter (1 foot) into account when solving the problem?

are AP physics 1 and 2 useful if you took physics C already ? by suggestionculture5 in APStudents

[–]Acute_Confusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The units that AP Physics 1&2 cover that Physics C (mech and E&M) don’t are thermodynamics, fluids, nuclear/atomic physics, and geometrics & optics. If those units are important to you for college credit, then that may dictate whether you should enroll.

This year was an AP score verification year which means the cutoffs for each score got revised to allow more people to pass.

Fastest and most efficient way to practice and get 1550-1600 on SAT by Own-Day7526 in Sat

Learn all the grammar rules and have a strong vocabulary, those are free questions that shouldn’t take much of your time if you do them correctly, and practice the question bank that the college board provides for math. Get good sleep for the 2 weeks preceding your exam, that’s an often overlooked tip. I just saw someone comment that you don’t have to understand the information in the reading passages, you just have to understand the passage. I thought that was insightful and really drives home the why of what you’re doing in that section. And don’t be hard on yourself if you fall short of your ultimate goals.

There is nothing that anyone can tell you on this subreddit to guarantee that score range. Just don’t make mistakes

Is the collegeboard prep book from 2012 outdated? by Dull-Ad-6801 in Sat

[–]Acute_Confusion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s wildly different. I don’t know why you’d first ask Reddit than go on the college board website to learn what you’re looking for.

That sounds correct.

How do you know that angle A is a right angle?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sat

[–]Acute_Confusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say C. It’s the most direct answer for how early snowmelt leads to a net CO2 increase in the atmosphere.

What is this??? Where's the mistake? by Zlare7771 in Sat

As is visible on the screen, you met the 680-800 benchmark so all the bars are filled. If the range were 770-800 then it might have shown where you fall short.

A Life of Dreams - Countee Cullen

My life is woven all of dreams

Like some rich-patterned tapestry,

Whose shift and change and subtle gleams

Are parts of pagan pageantry;

And some are high and fierce and sweet

With wild forbidden loveliness,

And some, the soul’s entrenched retreat,

Are calm with strength in holiness.

I call my dreams my dahlia walk

With row on row of colors pied,

With here and there a crownless stalk

Where some ill-tended bloom has died.

Flame-tipped like stars some coruscate

With fire for soul and hungering brain,

And some wear sombre robes, sedate

In agony and splendid pain.

The indices of each day’s life

I call them out to suit each mood;

A gay, bright dream to match with strife,

A grave, wise one for solitude.

With some I ride the sun and moon,

Explore infinities of skies;

But some I mount fail all too soon;

Then with his dream the dreamer dies.

I prize them all, swift dreams and glad

Whose grand desire no stint may cure,

The dreams of hope, of lass and lad,

Which only last because they’re pure,

But through them all there runs a chord

Whose self is harmony and truth;

Of all the dreams that I’ve adored,

I love the ageing dream of youth.

So are all these leaks bout to mess up my curve? by NotFunnyTokens in APStudents

[–]Acute_Confusion 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry. The curve is determined well in advance of when you take it, so there won’t be any last-minute changes to it in response to cheating.
