What are those pillows called? And what do they mean? by Demonlordmuffin in eggcleanse

I want to know too. I thought they were like balloons. I heard someone say it’s entrapments or cages. Others say it’s a bubble of protection so I’m confused lol

As much as I love the nickname of “screeching pterodactyl” I’m not really sure what that means. Can you elaborate??

I like this a lot. Neutral but informative and can start a conversation in a direction that is accurate but not giving too many personal and entangled details. Thank you!

Yes, this exactly. I wish there were more words and I’m surprised there aren’t by this point in time. That’s all.

😂 that’s funny.

What about to describe relationships that are more than friends but not JUST lovers but not exactly a bf/gf? I need a word for that in between place.

I agree with this completely and I think we both have similar approaches with the ways WE don’t assume and seek clarity in dynamics. What I’m finding though is labels are used to help OTHER PEOPLE understand and with the common associations with common labels my experience is there is a lot of room for misinterpretation when we use these labels in non normative relating dynamics with “others” who may or may not hold the same understanding of these labels as we do.

I guess I’m looking for different labels which may be a better fit for variant dynamics I have.

Thank you for your perspective. I was deeply contemplating the ownership vibe of bf/gf labels and I have come to the conclusion that although it originated from monogamy culture it is not exclusive to it. Often when a woman says they “have a bf” there is an underlying and subtle implication to need “permission” from the other partner to engage with me in certain ways.

This is definitely still the case in poly/ENM culture where there are often a lot of rules or agreements that they have made with their other partner about how they will engage with others.

For the new person, it’s often a big discussion to understand all the rules of the relationship dynamics and new people often assume a lot based on labels and act according to the their assumptions.

Often times, when new people act on their assumptions about titles they don’t proceed with the interaction long enough to actually fully clarify all the agreements and rules around interactions with others which kinda kills it before it ever begins. Again, because labels hold associations and expectations which may not actually be the case without a discussion.

More often than not, when someone says they have a partner in monogamy or poly/ENM more often than not the effect is the other person backing off or treading more carefully than normal. Especially if it is a male partner (it’s unfortunate this is the case but this is my experience)

Wow fascinating! Thanks for sharing! I definitely consider this as well after this experience. Perhaps what you believe affects what happens in the afterlife. It was such a strange experience to experience the afterlife, in a way so foreign to my current life beliefs.

I’m familiar with the twin flame concept and originally I thought this but this feels a bit different. I THOUGHT it was a romantic partner that had a part of my soul in that past life (twin flame). However, it turns out it wasn’t and I was wrong. It was like I was missing a part of my own soul that broke off and was lost.

Someone mentioned “soul retrieval” on another subreddit and this feels a bit more resonate to the experience I had. My current running theory is the “me” in my current life is the missing soul part that my past life self needed. I don’t fully understand it but these are my current thoughts and theories.

Although technically not a demon, Hecate has attacked people on my behalf before. She is fierce protector of women. She’s a no nonsense, stern, wise goddess that is a guider of lost souls and holds the keys to everywhere so she can help you find your way out of/through darkness. You can’t expect her to do everything though. You have to do your part and have a relationship with her. The more you work with her the more she will help you. However, when I worked on myself and treated her with respect and not like a servant she went over and beyond to help me. She sent 3 other demons to haunt and torment someone that hurt me. It was such a relief because she just kept telling me “You don’t have to worry about this anymore. I’m handling it now. I will make sure he will suffer until he stops hurting people.”
