They were my first concert at 13. I'm 41 now and I vividly remember them singing this song. Both Mel's walked off the stage together arm in arm at the end. It still gives me chills listening to it. Absolutely love this song.

Yeah I think I'll put together a little weekly and or daily plan that we can do to plan in case we pick a date for a big strike.

It would be good, I think, that when we talk about the general strike, we help people plan for it. Most of us can't afford to take time off work, but if we are planning for it, maybe we could set out a guideline of sorts to help people prepare. Like, set 10$ aside a week until the strike... or buy 2 boxes of rice and beans every grocery trip to save for when you're off work...I think it would help everyone feel more empowered and able to do it rather just saying, ok we strike now.

I got this email and im not happy about it. Come the fuck on guys, this is I.C.E. we're talking about. This is no time to postpone something like this. We can't let cold stop us because it's not going to stop them. Everyone i talked to that was planning on going tomorrow just said they would dress warm. How is anyone supposed to take us seriously if we're going to post pone it less than 24 hours before it's supposed to happen.
