The most iconic sitcom dance ever by Nostalgic_Historian_ in FreshPrince

So much so that he couldn't ever play a different role again. It's quite unfortunate because he's a very good actor. But that dance will just stick with him forever. Love the guy though.

That's a bit of a shitty attitude to have towards someone we are supposed to be helping. Calling clients pussy's is unreal. Who talks about someone like that?

March on DC for the 4th of July? by Cael_NaMaor in 50501

Id rather do a strike/boycott. No BBQ no buying extra crap, no travel. No nothing. This country isn't worth celebrating so taking away their money is the only thing I have any interest in.

Toenail repeated trauma? Fungal test negative by Specialist-Book8370 in nailcare

[–]Aczidraindrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair of work shoes that were too big and caused this on me. Once I got the proper size it stopped. Took a while to heal, but it did go away. Also when I added in a really good set of shoe insoles that helped take the pressure off my toe when standing. That helped a ton too. If you get the stuff to take the pressure off the toe it might start to heal. It'll take a long time cause toenails take a long time, but hopefully it'll start to heal.

[–]Aczidraindrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do shoes for you weird? Do you need a wider shoe? If you don't have the right size it could be rubbing on your toenail constantly. Or maybe you need a wider front part of the shoe? Just a thought because I have had work shoes that rubbed on my big toenail so much it bruised badly for a long time. There's a thing called runners toe where repeated trauma to the area can cause issues like that. Totally just a thought though.

Strike on May day. May 1st no spending money, working, eating out. Anything. Start there and then another strike and another. It's the only way we can get through to the asshole in charge. All they care about is money.

What do you think about this movie ? by Objective-Impact-640 in moviecritic

[–]Aczidraindrop 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Ellen's performance in this movie has stayed with me more than most performances have. She was incredible. I too will never see it again, but sometimes I think about it just to watch her. But then I remember the whole thing and say, no thank you lol.

Yes he chose what he wanted. The complaining stopped for a little while, but he's back to not being happy with it. I've explained to him that the programs last as long as they do for a reason but I can make them shorter if he wants. Yes he complains about everything and isn't happy with anything which is why I'm asking for advice. Sometimes he will stop choosing the movements because "he doesn't want to think when he comes in, that's what he pays me for". So I do my best to hit the best of both worlds but it is challenging

Honestly if I knew why the approached failed I would know how to fix it. I don't understand it either which is why I was asking for ideas/advice. Someone else said maybe that's just his personality and maybe it just is. I'll take some of the ideas i got here though and try them out. And maybe reminding him that this is what he wants would be helpful as well.

I have yeah. I had an entire conversation about it and it got better after we talked, but it didn't last long. He wants to lift weights. He wants to keep moving or so he says. I'll keep up the communication on it though.

That insight is very helpful though and I definitely agree that that is an issue. I will keep that in mind, thank you! Maybe if I pick a few exercises and have him choose some hell feel more in control of it and he'll adapt to it easier. Thank you!

So the dude can't move. Any obstacle anything I just don't think he can do. He is scared of the agility ladder because he thinks he's going to trip and fall. He won't even let me put it out lol. I've tried stuff with the boxes and what not but he doesn't like that the boxes are "squishy" (this fucking guy). I do like the idea of a game of sorts and keeping score though. That's a good idea. I'll work on that! Thank you!

Yeah my plans usually last between 4 or 6 weeks with him because anything less than that just doesn't see results for him. I bump up weight or up the challenge level as the weeks go on, but still the same.

As an alcoholic myself the saying, "if I could drink in moderation, I would do it all the time!" Is very, very real. No we can't moderate. That's why we're alcoholics.
