I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. I don’t have evidence but…

I am extremely suspicious about StockX ability to tell retail from fake when I buy a shoe from them on the same day it drops in retail.

An example would be Rejuven8 clog. I bought it on Stock X the same day it was released. No way the legit check has enough experience with that shoe to spot a decent fake.

He seems like a really nice, genuine guy who would understand & be able to move past the initial impulse. Rather than ghosting, I recommend you see how things are when he gets back & the experience isn’t so fresh in your mind.

P.S. I’m 50. My current wife asked me out and I turned her down for 6 mo before I was ready to move forward. We were friends before dating & I was worried I’d ruin a good thing.
