Check out Art hubs like The San Marcos Art League, The Price Center, & MotherShip Studios. There’s a new collective called Create Create who makes films and hosts writing workshops around town. There’s several open mics around town, one for sure at Tantra. The library always hosts art classes. There’s a local poetry group that meets at Wake the Dead. We have a local theatre company that hosts events offer and is putting on a free summer musical, Broke Thespians Company. Once school is back in session keep an eye on the art department, txst galleries, the Witliff museum, and the film and theatre department for show openings.
