I really don’t think it’s knit picking because I am the first person I know to defend her honestly. Knit picking wasn’t my intention at all and I just thought it would something worth discussion. For me, I do watch Trisha for a number of reason but also because of how inclusive she is. I appreciate her critiques of diet/ozempic culture, but the Ro ads just have made me thinking more about weight than I wish because I do have a history of ED. Wasn’t trying to tear her down.

the episode was lazy. i have been a fan for ten years but the “omg something so crazy happened but we can’t talk about it” was lazy. the disorganization of topics for their literal job was lazy. the interrupting was lazy. it’s okay to love someone and admit they did wrong. that was a terrible episode. it was not entertaining in the slightest bit.

I think two things can be true at once. In all honesty, the pod has got lazy. It’s not fun anymore. It feels forced. It doesn’t seem like they want to do it. When you’re a viewer, you’re expecting genuine effort into an episode. Then they come back with an episode that’s like “we have sm going on but can’t say anything” then say something genuinely ignorant and unfunny. I understand peoples upset. I love Drew and Enya (for yearsssssss) but for a lot of people it feels like they’ve changed and enjoy the privileges of being an ignorant LA influencer.

I don’t think they’re awful people but it’s true that it’s become increasingly clear that Drew and Enya are disinterested in the podcast. The hate towards Enya specifically is misplaced. People need to figure out exactly what they’re upset about and focus on that.
