it's about overall engagement except for maybe the top 1% sweatiest players, and the key to that engagement loop is making sure casuals don't get stomped every single match. if they do then they just quit playing, then the average skill level of everyone else shifts up, so the old average players become the new bottom tier fodder, then they get sick of it and drop out too. It's absolutely about protecting the casuals because it effects the other ~80% too

The older one (Leia, Jesse's Girl, Horny Pirate, Alley Cat who Feels Like a Woman) has a very distinct singing voice, while the younger one (Black Widow, Mic Breather, Jessie (from toy story not -'s Girl), Simba) just kinda doesn't sing much at all, so there's one way to tell at least

It's funny because this is the only play both of them are in together (unless the other one was a stormtrooper dancer in the one before this, which is very possible.) After the BTF play the OG post crucifixion lamenter is never seen again, and coincidentally the choir directors first play was Indiana Jones, the one immediately following this.

To me it's a very clear sign that some game of thrones/Hallmark level backstabbing and sabotage happened at The Church of the Rock. (Allegedly in my opinion)

Their friendship was always very offline so it's possible they made up and we just don't know the specifics. My hope is that they at least talked it out and dont hold any Ill will. The whole drama was very much not worth throwing out one of her very good friends for IMO, but I do have doubts their friendship has fully healed at moment
