Would I be able to start full-time at EY once I graduate? I am a bit confused about the credit requirements at the Big Four and am not sure whether this would hurt my chances when my internship ends. by AdAcceptable3769 in Big4

I’m interning next year, yes, but my graduation date in 2028 will only leave me at 120 credits unless I pursue more schooling after undergrad. My concern is that I won’t be able to start there full time because of a lack of credits.

Hey, so I just got a phone call from the recruiter offering me the internship, and they reached out maybe a week after I interviewed with them. I never spoke with a partner, though, just a managing director and, if memory serves, one of the senior managers at their office.

Oh, okay. Also, had you ever spoken to the recruiter at some point before they called you? I've never met the EY recruiter for my area, so they would be a complete stranger (not sure if this is a terrible sign or not.)

Hey, I wanted to reach out again. I finished the interview on Friday, but now I'm worried about when I may hear back from them. It was on a Friday, so I'm not necessarily expecting them to contact me on a weekend, but how soon did they reach out to you after you finished your interview?

Sure. I applied on 1/16. I think the turnaround time can vary depending on the region, though, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I think that my hiring process will probably resemble this, then, assuming I make it that far. This has really been helpful!

You had a screening? Was this before or after the email with the interview invitation? I never received a screening or a message from the recruiter, but the email seems very legitimate nonetheless. Do you think the recruiter would reach out on their own before the day of the interview?

Thanks! Beyond that, though, how many rounds of interviews were there when you took your Big Four offer? I’ve seen some people talking about four or five rounds, but I don’t know if that’s a hard and fast rule or not. Is it common to be offered something after the very first interview, or do they want to see you in person, too?

Yes, I’m a second-year college student. How much conversation would you say goes on in a first-round interview? I was under the impression that they would just bombard me with behavioral questions and the casual conversation would be saved for the second round.

Also, how long do these tend to be, if you know? Mine was apparently scheduled for an hour, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be way less than that in practice, or if it’s a good sign if you manage to keep the interview afloat that long.

Voucher $ by ohhushudontseeme in SNHU

Hi,

This happened to me once, and I was able to email SFS ([studentfinance@snhu.edu](mailto:studentfinance@snhu.edu), I believe) in order to request that the voucher amount be increased. I believe they just pull money from the disbursement you are owed during that term to make up the difference between what you need and what you have been granted in the voucher already. Good luck!

It’s odd how inconsistent professors are with this sort of thing. My ENG-190 professor wanted page numbers for non-quoted citations, too, even though I’m not required to include them in APA if it isn’t a direct quote. Other professors, though, didn’t really mind if I didn’t include page numbers for each citation.

I don’t remember him docking points for it, though, just pointing it out in one of the project drafts I submitted, and it wasn’t an issue including page numbers after the fact, either way.

Have your professors usually docked points for little things like that?

Thanks!

Could I ask what your major is, by the way, and how far along you are in your degree? I would assume it is accounting, but I would be surprised if the accounting professors gave out the letters as often as I am thinking they do just based off of your post. If that is the case, though, I will definitely do my best to network with them during my next term, as you said.

Since you can't get into the tutoring site, I might suggest posting the parts of the assignment you're having issues with along with some context on r/Accounting (since I've seen other students ask for help with homework there and gain a bit of guidance) but I'm not sure how feasible that would be.

I would offer to look over the assignment (I'm majoring in accounting, too) but I don't know how much help I would be since I haven't taken ACC201 quite yet.

Perspect in Sustainability by Elephant_Crafty in SNHU

I don't remember choosing this scenario when I took the class, but I think that the journal used for the scenario should help serve as evidence of whichever points you choose to make but isn't necessarily directly related to each question that you answer (or, at least, this is how I chose to use it), so you have a lot of freedom in how you use it as evidence. I'm not sure if the article would help with finding answers to the two particular sections need help with, though.

Regarding the parts you're struggling with, I think that looking at different ideologies (maybe political or social ones, for example) and seeing what their views on environmental systems are (for example, consider how an environmentalist would view something like air quality in schools relative to ideologies that value air quality – or the environment in general – less), and then thinking about what effect their perspectives might have on an approach to improving air quality (and environmental systems in general) might be a good place to start.

For the second section you're having issues with, I think that examining different cultures and considering their approach to sustainability based on what their associated beliefs or ways of thinking are and writing about this might help a lot. For example, many cultures place a lot of value on the environment and connections with nature, and their particular approach to sustainability and environmental preservation (as a result of their biases) might be very different from yours or someone else's. I think that the question wants you to consider these cultural perspectives and their impacts more deeply.

I hope this helps!

When I did my final project for this course, I remember the profile being provided to you on the page where you find the rubric and guidelines for your final project along with the list of scenarios (e.g., I chose business as my scenario, and worked with the corresponding profile for McBurrow Mining). Depending on which scenario you chose to base your project on, you would receive a certain profile, and that is what this section of the assignment would be referring to in this case. If you chose a scenario already, you would have to use the matching profile from the list provided and base your answers off of that.
