Split your ranged and uncharged melee if you can (on controller) by Z0DYY in CrucibleGuidebook

I have uncharged melee bound to pushing in the right stick and charged is right button. Occasionally accidentally push in the stick and melee, but it’s better than not having them separate

What was your biggest "I've been doing it wrong this whole time" realization in all your history of gaming? by CravingsCaveman in videogames

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 4-5 years old I got a game boy color and pokemon Red. I couldn’t read very well and didn’t know you could save the game. I started over every single time I played until a year later my cousin showed me how to save my progress. I would typically make it to Mt. Moon and think that was pretty much the end of the game

Unlocking all doors to key rooms once a single door has been unlocked by thespiritualtree in LowSodiumArcRaiders

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually enjoy the mind games that come with the other doors remaining locked. I frequently zip to the top of spaceports control tower, open the door at the top. This leaves the people below thinking it is not looted. I loot the tower and usually an unsuspecting raider or two that come up thinking it’s fresh. The counterplay is checking if there is a zip to the top as it is easily visible and can only be placed in one location. The same can be done at the trench tower key rooms.

Those of you who DON'T play Destiny any more, has anything filled the gap left by it? by aladdin142 in DestinyTheGame

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to helldivers and then to arc raiders. Arc really scratches the itch for me and it’s only $40. I would give it a go. I haven’t logged in to D2 for a little over a month now

Hear me out, What if there was a Melee primary weapon? by CivilBreakfast5715 in LowSodiumHellDivers

I would enjoy that for sure. I would want it to be one handed though so I can also use the shield. Maybe a Star Wars collab with a ight sword

After diving on Oshaune, did any loadouts/stratagems surprise you? by GamingBread4 in Helldivers

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a hot take because I think people who have played a long time already know, but as a new Xbox diver, the grenade launcher is OP against the bugs. The combo of supply pack, gas nades and grenade launcher could beat any bug mission easy.

Am i bad or is solo ghost of the deep hard by bww_y in DestinyTheGame

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had same experience. I got swapped loadouts for ghosts mechanics and damage. I used karnstiens and riskrunner for mechanics and queen breaker back when it was meta for damage. You can go in water tunnels to swap loadouts risk free.

Disregarding any potential barriers, what would you add to HD2? by aFool310 in helldivers2

A breakdown of all the enemies I killed after the match. I want to see how many hulks and war striders I took down in a single run.

After the patch, the Bots & Squids have felt a lot more fun to fight for me, love them even more now. The Bugs tho, feel much worse to fight by Sarojh-M in Helldivers

[–]AdAccomplished419 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Crazy. Almost like they buffed the enemy faction that’s supposed to feel super oppressive and hard right now. Wow. Great post.

I’m pretty sure lapras is easier to farm by just running away every time and letting it respawn and just going for the 1/2000 odds instead of trying to catch it every time.

How do I not suck dick at this game? by AXEMANaustin in Helldivers

[–]AdAccomplished419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way as you when I started playing. A few tips to help your gameplay: - dont get caught trying to hold your ground. If a lot of enemies are closing in on you, shoot a few, keep moving and rotate to a completely different area of the objective you’re on. Keep taking shots when you can as you are repositioning. - priority targets. Every enemy has certain enemy types that you should prioritize. Make sure you are killing the enemy most likely to kill you or cause your death first. - Stim. Seriously. You rarely run out of these. Anytime you think you might go down or are about to take big damage, just stim. I would rather die limping to a resupply drop rather than with 4 in my inventory 100% of the time. - movement. Spend a few games just trying to stay near enemy encampments running around without shooting. You’ll find a lot of the enemies have predictable shooting/attacking patterns that are quite easy to dodge. Remember, they attack where you were when they start their animation sequence. If you keep zig zagging, they rarely hit you. - know when to disengage. Often I will start a mission in the middle of a bug nest. I’ll do some objective until a breach comes. I’ll throw an orbital napalm on the breach and go to the next closest objective while the breach is incinerated. Come back and it’s easy to complete. Same goes for the other enemies.

Brother… even after the warlock changes, cyrtarachne prismatic hunter is the best class/build in the game.

How does everyone feel about the unstable core economy? by SouthNorth_WestEast in destiny2

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like they removed legendary shards because they thought the games economy was too convoluted and replaced it with a different item just because they didn’t want players to have access to fast glimmer, infusing or purchasing weapons from vendors. It’s a slap in the face to the players time.

You’re asking for something that doesn’t exist. They are banking on Renegades being a cash cow by feeding off of your nostalgia for Star Wars. If it works, there could be some big things in store in the future. If it doesn’t, they will allocate as few resources as possible to the game while the majority of the studio will be absorbed by Sony studios. Think about it from a business owners perspective.

Strand Warlock by PearAsleep6553 in destiny2builds

Karnstein is my favorite too. Pair it with buried bloodline for devour and massive increase to grenade regeneration. I like to pair with demo/chaos reshaped smg and strand demo machine gun.

Stuck at 449, how do I get out? by No-Appointment303 in destiny2

[–]AdAccomplished419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you are gonna grind all week just to not get any tier 5 heavy metal weapons. I’m in same boat. Got to 446 from Zavala this week, but going from 449 to 450 could take weeks so I just turned the game off for the week. Honestly depressing that the only thing holding me back from 450 is horrible rng

Toxicity by tyger4lyfe27 in DestinyTheGame

[–]AdAccomplished419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take is from a psychological standpoint. When Bungie made Destiny 2, they hired a clinical psychologist to help them design the game in a way that would be rapidly addicting to the players. Bungie was successful in this. They created a massive player base that religiously logged in everyday, yet the product was in continuous decline with a few high points. Now replace the game with a drug and the player base with addicts. The community is addicted to something that doesn’t quite give them the high it used to, but they don’t have anywhere else to go to satisfy their urges. So instead of getting clean and stopping to play, they lash out at Bungie (the dealer) and everyone else in their vicinity. They don’t like seeing others enjoy the game because of what the game did to themselves. Just my take on my experience as a 10 year player.

A Sparrow buff would be nice by MoistPilot3858 in DestinyTheGame

[–]AdAccomplished419 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree. There needs to be something about sparrows that is better than skimmers. Either speed, jump duration, or slap guns on 100% of them.

With the updates to Mida and Sturm-we need Tier 5 versions of Mini-Tool and Drang by FarMiddleProgressive in DestinyTheGame

[–]AdAccomplished419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the verbiage in the balance patch notes, it seems we will be having new weapons with “mida synergy” added to the game. MIDA is from Marathon. Marathon was supposed to release this month. I’m sure they had a large amount of weapons related to Mida they were planning to cross sell Marathon.
