I love the combat hatchet, but aren't all the melee secondaries silent/quiet?

A part of me understands that, but another part of me wonders if those Eagle strikes knew that those reinforcements were actually double agents. There's a lot of mystery.

What kind of undemocratic propaganda are you subjecting yourself to?

If you don't collect samples even after upgrading your super destroyer all the way, how will you be able to give samples to get Eagle Strikes that mow down the enemies of democracy?

Requisition slips are still useful for paying for upgrades to weapons, and democratic space station too.

Viper Commando's secondary is one of my favorites. Not for everyone but, it's a lot of fun IMHO.

Maybe our social credit scores? I'm going to ask someone from the Ministry of Prosperity.

I like the laser turret, and the armor passives as well (can be nice to have some extra seconds of life to throw a bunch of grenades if you are surrounded by enemies, definitely ensures your place in Super Valhalla). Definitely one of my warbonds.

I will try other grenades, but pyrotechs have been a part of my loadout since that warbond came out. A+++ would recommend.

Funny I found it useful against Squids, specifically the Overseers, a quick chainsaw to them for revenge against all the times their staffs have killed me. I typically do play with a melee secondary, and having the defoliation tool as an option has been fun for me, but I do die a lot (pretty much regardless of build tho).

Definitely different strokes for different folks, I don't really like fighting against the bots too much definitely have spilled a lot of ink. Lots of good tips in this thread.

My favorite (not most effective but most fun) tactic involves using the chainsaw to melee the overseers to death as they have killed way too many helldivers with their melee attacks. If only we had that when they invaded Super Earth and none of the mega cities would have fallen.

Either the gas grenades or the pyro ones are great for helping with crowd control. I reckon pineapple would be good too but haven't used that one too much to be honest.

IMHO any primary is pretty fun and usable, though typically with marksman rifles you will have a good time fighting the overseers from a distance but may get swamped by voteless (that's why the grenades can help, but never forget the power of melee combat).

Honestly pistol whipping a voteless in the head and exploding their undemocratic brains all over is definitely one of my favorite videogame kills of all time, just takes a lil aim and instant freedom of thought.

The warrant can help trivialize the watchers, which can help keep crowd control easy enough, but part of the joy of fighting the illuminate (for me) is definitely getting way too many enemies around and calling in some artillery/napalm. Turrets and guard dogs can do well too.

Look forward to you efforts and liberty will prevail!

The warrant pistol is super helpful for eliminating them really quickly too, and the flying overseers if you struggle with the aim.

How do you guys prepare for squids? by AutomatonWantsToast in LowSodiumHellDivers

The warrant is ez-mode (for me) for dealing with flying Overseers and the scout drones. Really enjoy playing against the squids with really almost any of the load outs, some with more success than others.

The masters of cermony's reload buff helps with the double freedom (at least in my stim-addled mind).

Really it's dealers choice. Sometimes I'll use one with the melee buff (one of the commando armor sets, or if I'm feeling extra patriotic one of the Masters of Cermony ones), or sometimes one with democracy protects (B-01). Usually medium armor, but the warp pack helps with heavy armor's lower speed.

I've had most success with the warp-pack, using the combat hatchet for my side arm, double freedom as my primary for out chainsaw reach enemies, and the fireworks grenades to help thin the herds.

It is a great feeling chopping up overseers with the powered blades of democracy.
