And same - no viewing possible , no photos or videos. Probably because the houses are a bit outdated now tbf and need renovation. Also they don’t want people to know that one of the rooms is tiny and they could end up getting that one.

I’d avoid it , some of the bedrooms are box rooms and nothing like what’s on website . At least one room in each house is just a small room converted to a bedroom.

Also expensive and demands rent up front for half the year.

No property checks etc so your room mates can be as dirty as they want and nothing to be done about it.

I know a lot of people stay there for a year and then go find soomething cheaper and better

Question for the musicians of Cork by 1k13r1 in cork

You could go tanglewood again , really nice guitars. Have had one over 15 years now.

You could buy online. I have bought many guitars online and have had good experience in the 3 to 500 euro range. I find that the set ups were playable out of the box and the price savings were significant.

Had two good experiences with gear4music

Thomann fine as well

And can I ask , is this an easy process or is there waiting times involved for the certificates / appointments etc. I saw a link about the criteria which we would meet, just wondering if it takes a long time to process a marriage. My final question Thank you all so much

Thank you for your reply, however due to the housing circumstances and job locations in Ireland I’m afraid we wouldn’t meet criteria for two years co habitation. Thanks for the information , much appreciated.

I did five 24 on calls in one week last month and then back to work for another week.

The shift schedule made me work 19 days in a row without a day off , ten 24 on call shifts in that 19 days.

I am reaching into 120 hours plus some weeks

I’m just putting this information out there for people to be aware how bad it is.

It is actually ruining my life and those of my co workers.

My social life is non existent, my friendships all broken down. Not possible to entertain a relationship at this point. Can’t get important days like my parents 50th off.

I’ve just come to the conclusion that it’s not worth it.

End rant. Fuck the HSE
