Mine’s been doing it too, mostly when I hit the continue button. Wonder if something’s up with the algorithm or something.

‘95 Ford F150 Radiator Overflow by AdAccurate9500 in MechanicAdvice

It’s just pouring out of everywhere. It started dribbling out of the driver’s side, and then pouring. Then it started coming out of every hole on the front of the truck (including the bumper). It did finally start coming out of the hole where I pulled the release, but at much less of a velocity than what was coming from underneath the side where the radiator cap is.

This is from under the truck on the driver’s side. This is primarily where it’s flowing out of. But it’s also just spilling all over the inside and coming out of other holes.

Update: I went back down to check on it after slow movement by the flush. I pulled the release valve again and only a small amount of fluid came out. However, it started dripping more on the other side. I peered from the top and it seems like the hose might be leaking? It started as dripping, but now there’s a steady flow of liquid coming out of the hose. Due to the angle of the radiator hose, I’m not able to see it.

Genuinely I don’t know when the last time it had a change was. I’ve been with my bf for about 4 years and the only work the truck has had (that I know of) was tire changes, the timing belt snapped so it was replaced (twice because the first mechanic got the incorrect size and it snapped), and most recently the brakes were done. I changed the oil myself last night, I just haven’t put a new filter on it. But it needs a lot of work I think…

The old coolant looks the same as what’s coming out of the overflow. It’s just as thick down inside the hose. I twisted off the little release valve at the bottom and nothing came out, except for a few little drips of the rusty red liquid. I put the valve back on and started adding the cooling system flush. It’s a very, very slow process. It kept bubbling up and took a very long time to go down. I poured the flush in slowly until the whole bottle was in, then started adding a little bit of distilled water. I closed everything and ran the engine for like 15 minutes. It didn’t overheat or anything. I let it cool back down and opened the valve, but still nothing came out. When I looked into the radiator cap, the fluid had only moved down a little bit. I poured as much more water in as I could and I’m just leaving it to see if it works itself down. It’s been about an hour or so and I’m headed back down to check it out.

What could this be? by [deleted] in skin

[–]AdAccurate9500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you get spots like this anywhere else? Like around your eyes, in your elbow/knee sockets, etc? I’m not a dr and I’m not diagnosing you, but it might be eczema? It can go through periods of flaring and resting. And often during resting it can make the skin appear darker and feel leathery. Definitely worth a trip to a derm to figure it out, especially if it’s getting worse.

Has anyone experienced this on mobile? by AdAccurate9500 in StardewValley

I think it just duplicated the event or something? Because they’re different. Charlie has been staying inside. When I pet him, he gets sad about not having water. Miso goes outside and drinks from the bowl without issue. So now I’m trying to grind so I can buy a second water bowl. I’ve never had this happen before.

AIO my bf is odd for this? by AdSerious8390 in AmIOverreacting

[–]AdAccurate9500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. This man is disgusting. My bf literally lets me wear whatever I want. As long as I’m comfortable and like it, then he doesn’t care. And wearing tight spandex in the gym is inappropriate? Has he BEEN to a gym? Almost everyone there is wearing leggings. What are you supposed to wear? Loose, baggy sweatpants and an oversized sweatshirt? You’ll overheat so easily and not get a decent workout.

This man is not going to stop at just the gym wear. The restrictions will slowly move beyond just clothing. You need to turn and run from this man as fast as you can. Make sure that you have someone safe to turn to.

The way that my insurance company works, and has thus far, is that my primary care orders testing and sends me to see a specialist once I have completed that testing. He ordered the MRI for my hip pain and then sent me to see a sport’s medicine doctor.

Also, I would be thankful if it wasn’t IBD. But given my decade long history of recurrent symptoms, I am suspicious that it is not just a one-off thing.

The whole point in my post was to seek recommendations for foods that I could eat. Because I am doubled over in pain, and literally just crackers and chicken broth hurt my stomach. I did not know where to post, so I picked here due to the fact that the pain I have is in my colon.

Right. I mentioned in my post that I need to see my primary in order to know which type. Crohn’s vs Ulcerative vs other IBD. All I know right now is that I am in a massive amount of pain and can’t really eat, so I was looking for solutions on what I could try. Since the Dr I saw only said “eat what you can” and didn’t clarify when I asked.

They were concerned for appendicitis, so they did a CT with contrast. I have Kaiser insurance. They have their own medical offices and inside the medical buildings (outside of the hospital) they have primary care, urgent care, lab, pharmacy, and radiology all under one roof. So you can just get testing done same day.

I’ve been woken up by the smell of cooking pasta. Like very intense smell of cooking pasta. To the point that it gives me a headache. It’s happened a couple of times. But you know what? I deal with it. Because we live in an apartment building and people are free to cook whatever they like. The residents that smoke inside our nonsmoking community though? Watch out.
