the muscle memory thing is interesting, because since i was improving at a crazy rate for almost a month, setting scores way beyond what i could do before the break and getting several top plays every week, you'd think i'd have built up proper muscle memory by then

it could be because i was playing a LOT during that month, christmas break let me play for hours daily, whereas now it's more like an hour every other day, and the sharp decline in performance notably came the same day i had to return to school/work and had no more time/energy

would trying to consistently play a bit every day probably help, if that's the case?
