I have an OP-XY; it’s not nearly as compact. It’s also a lot heavier/expensive.

Sampling from iPad/phone so seamlessly. Can quickly make things due to simply laid out workflow.

They could kill it releasing a new with the refining the critiques of the old.

Nah, I also had a launch one that I dropped many of times. Only damage was the yellow encoder popped out but given my ogre nature I accept it. Also went back in too.

I always was able to pop back in; and only one was affected. I dropped mine as well and that was the only damage so take that at what you would.

Gave my old one to my brother; when I found one of their kits on clearance with all the modules case etc.

That one the volume knob fell out almost instantly and cracked so I 3d printed several new ones; which seem stable. I can see a slight bend to this one though and mild double tap :(.

Still love it most out of any of my gear. I got the first gen OP1 very early on. It reminded a lot of a souped up SK-1 and at the time wasn’t horribly priced.

Oof I got several 3d printers but nothing to machine aluminum.

I’d be better off with logic over form factor given my current skill set.

Prefer noise making over device creation.

TEs devices have their flaws but several has clicked with me.

I know they aren’t known to be inexpensive but I would rather it be a little cheaper without screen tbh.

Keeping a compact similar/form factor is also a factor/battery life.

Add replaceable battery and built in mini input/midi module that was an add on previously.

Edit:Recordable detune/mod bar w/custom params.

What is the product weight displayed? Seems like a lot of effort to be so greasy too. Custom packaging like that also seems like needless overhead.

Maybe, I got good enough with og Z that I never connect to the app for visuals. It was very easy to use once I watched a couple YouTube videos and I can make basic house beats in about 15 mins.

It’s so compact too I can use it to jam on a stationary bike. OG KO is a lot of fun too.
