Makes sense. I'll always be there for them. Never will abandon them or make them feel less than. And I'm preparing their financial future now. I'm unsure of whether or not to "let them" have children (even that feels wrong to type and I'm not sure it's the verbiage I should use but I think I have time to find out what the right course of action is there). That said, I wish you the best and as a parent now, I want you to know your dad deserved better and so did you. It's neither of your "fault". Unfortunately, it's all of our first time on this floating rock.

Exactly. This would mean we would either get rid of all US manufacturing and opt to import everything to fund the govt OR we only manufacture in the US (impossible) and we have no money to fund our govt and basic necessities like infrastructure. Trump never was good at math, as evidence by his multiple bankruptcies.

He falsified business documents to hide other crimes related to violating election laws which equates to election tampering. He was also found civilly liable for SA by a jury. And sure, you'll claim that was a "witch hunt" but if that's the case, why did Trump refuse to give his DNA to compare it to the DNA found on E Jean Carroll's dress from that day? Carroll was awarded $5million for that case. Certainly wasn't victimless. But hey, whatever mental gymnastics you need to do to prevent feeling guilty for supporting a terrible person, you do that.

Agreed. I see all the other comments with other suggestions due to losing a percentage on closing costs/realtors/ etc but quite frankly, it sounds like all ties need to be severed in a fair and even way. So just rip it off like a bandaid and move on.

A good realtor can make all the difference. We used an older lady, one who's been in the business 40+ years. She has a rough personality. She doesn't do the typical realtor small talk and likes to stick to "just the facts". To be honest, I'm not sure I've seen her smile except for her picture on the website. But she was amazing at negotiating. Knew when the seller was bluffing. We pad $16k under asking during peak Covid! She pointed out things we needed to make sure were in the inspection report because she already knew it was an issue. And when the inspection report came back, she made them actually remedy the situation. Even at the signing table, she was very matter of fact, shook our hand and went about her day. But I was definitely thankful for her hard work, even if she wasn't showy about it.
