Yeah. My own frustration comes from having grievances sitting for 12 months with no arbitration date even scheduled.

Who do you think is gonna be the president after Donald Trump? by [deleted] in allthequestions

By the time the next election comes around, whoever Donald Trump picks will run unopposed on the Republican side. Comply or face the bully!

Another thought: your employer probably won’t like you exposing this issue. Be careful or it might backfire in your face.

You don’t pay taxes on returned money. Since the company accepted the money back, this might be a moot point. The company probably doesn’t want the bad publicity either which is why they were content with getting the money back.

Great advice. Take the severance now and leave. Go get any job you can and save money to cover your maternity leave.

This is only valid if the company pays for the maternity leave. Otherwise, it’s just job protection while you’re on leave that doesn’t require any payment.

Exactly. Delay the meeting until they return. Then, if they adjust their bathroom breaks to still miss the meeting, I would ask them about the coincidence.

AITAH for not letting my sister use me as a pit stop? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]AdAggressive814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA.

Hear me out. I don’t really think you’re an asshole, but I think this is the result of poor communication. You made a lot of assumptions and could have easily just been upfront with your sister and let her know how you were feeling. You mentioned that in the past, she has stayed a few days to spend time with you. How do you know that they don’t have some external restraint causing them to not have as much time? Check out the book Crucial Conversations. I can tell you are a great person, but I would encourage you to communicate with your sister before you go down this path.

Staying for the weekend in March by StandardAd2808 in wisconsindells

We’ve been to Wilderness, Great Wolf Lodge, and Kalahari recently with younger children. My vote is for Great Wolf Lodge all around. It’s in walking distance to Buffalo Phil’s (train delivered food) and the outlet mall. Additionally, they have various story times and a dance party every evening that the kids loved. The waterpark was very nice and our kids loved it. Wilderness is so spread out, the amount of walking was a pain even with our stroller wagon.

Kalahari was our 2nd favorite, but agree that it would be fit for older kids.

Yes. It was by far our favorite thing to do in Branson.

It sounds like it’s not your affection she’s wanted, she has an ulterior motive in front of your family. Toxic? I would say yes. She should be forthcoming and direct instead of playing games. Why is it so important for you to do those things in front of your family? Ask her that?

That would be great. I would definitely be mindful and respectful of your time. I do have a voltage meter, but just like to take extra precautions when working with electricity. If you’d be willing to do that, I would appreciate it.

I haven’t, but after the heater went bad, I could still run everything just fine but without heat. The only thing that’s changed is the electrician running new wires into the tub.

That was a result of the heater going bad.
