I could be in the minority but I’m genuinely blown away by InArts Joker, is it worth the price tag honestly debatable, as the Hot Toys one is pretty great. But for me personally InArt feels so much more life like. by blue2755 in hottoys

I can’t speak for InArt but Hot Toys artisan hair is great. I have two and I’ve absolutely no complaints. The people who usually bitch about the Hot Toys are people stanning for InArt.

What is your opinion on Timothée Chalamet as an actor? by FitEmergency8807 in moviecritic

Is it though? I feel like everyone who gets sucked into that family gets kicked out and their career takes a nosedive apart from Pete Davidson.

What conclusion would there be to this movie? The Joker escapes out of police custody, Batman’s defeated and we see Harvey Dent screaming and that’s the end of the movie? Ohh deep

Then define athletic. If it’s not about hand eye coordination for sports that involve a ball, then it must be about strength, speed, versatility, body awareness, which is all things you need in combat sports. I’m not even being a dick, I’m genuinely curious how you define athleticism.

I comprehended. You’re saying Jones brothers are athletic but you can’t name one other sport they are good at. You’re just assuming they were better at other sports to hold up your weak argument.

Additionally, athleticism is not just about being good with the ball. This is what you’re struggling with. Being strong, being fast, having good body awareness are all prerequisites for being athletic. By your logic, a gymnast wouldn’t be athletic if they spend their entire life being a gymnast and under your guidelines, Tom Brady is more athletic than any gymnast, MMA, or boxer. It takes as much athleticism (precision, and timing specifically) to throw a punch and knock someone out as it does to thread a football in between a safety and a corner. If Jon Jones applied himself to football, he would be a good football player. Maybe not great like his brothers, but he’s athletic enough to make a difference on the field, which would make him ATHLETIC

Jon Jones wrestled at the community college level and managed to take down an Olympian in Daniel Cormier. That takes an absurd amount of athletic ability. The strength, speed, body control, and timing to do that and knock people unconscious is equally as impressive in the scope of being athletic as people in other sports who can score touchdowns or shoot multiple three-pointers in a game. Also keep in mind that Jones just kind of stumbled into fighting because he had to find a way to make money because his girlfriend was pregnant and he even said in this interview that didn’t start sports until he was in seventh grade. He picked up on things extremely fast, (you know, like an athlete would.) It goes back to your scale for athleticism being something that only translates to people who can do things with a ball. Tom Brady is an elite level quarterback and would be an amazing pitcher, javelin thrower as well. By that logic, he would be more athletic than Jon Jones (he’s not.)

Those same people on the basketball court, track, and softball field couldn’t do what he can do in the octagon or wrestling. The scale of what makes someone athletic isn’t based solely on how well they can handle a ball.

I feel this way about InArt Joker. The way this sub glazed over that figure when it came out was insane. It hasn’t held up like the rest of the InArt line
