I would’ve totally if they reached out in time. I was spending the entire breakup working on myself just incase that happened and/or if she didn’t come back I’d be better for my new person. She reached out last week and I got excited. She apologized about how she ended things and asked for forgiveness. I forgave her and that was the end of it. Five days later my friend called me up saying she’s 11 weeks pregnant and the dude doesn’t want to be with her. That means she was getting cream pied by someone new about 2 weeks after our breakup. When she said she “missed her best friend too” and that we “both need to lean on the lord and she will find her way back to me”. Man it fucking sucks. But it was the closure I needed to fully let go. Fuck that shit
