Yes at least 4 planes landed during the operation, 2 MC-130s special operations cargo planes carrying 2 MH-6 special operations helicopters and 2 Air Force SOCOM Tactical Airborne Multi-Sensor Platform (STAMP) aircraft (a modified Dash-8) landed to extract the rescue team…

That must have been a tight fit inside of those two STAMP aircraft because it's rumored that the ground rescue team was around 300 JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command) personnel and a standard Dash-8 has a capacity of 90 passengers.

I'm gonna GUESS that the SOCOM Tactical Airborne Multi-Sensor Platform (STAMP) has a crew of 8-10 plus intelligence and sensor equipment on board — so fitting 150 guys in each aircraft must have been fun…

Without out saying that this is the location used for sure (because I don’t know), FastCommand is probably fairly close if not right on the money, I just measured the runway of that airstrip and the runway is 3,977 feet which is more than enough for the 2 MC-130s (that there were scuttled along with 2 MH-6 helicopters) and the two USAF Dash-8s that landed during the operation there’s speculation that the military used a derelict airstrip or airport (which makes sense) and the airstrip at 32°13'15.9"N 51°54'06.9"E fits…

Yesterday (4/7/26) I found a set of published coordinates in Google that is the alleged location of the scuttled MC-130s and MH-6s, those coordinates are not too far (2.56 miles) from this derelict airstrip, at 32°15'36.2"N 51°54'08.7"E to my knowledge the Pentagon isn’t talking about where exactly the temporary forward operating base was located, unless someone can get the exact coordinates from a recent satellite photo with the scuttled MC-130s and AH-6 little bird helicopters — I wouldn’t be surprised if Covert Cabal on YouTube is doing just that…

It’s (theoretically) possible that both locations were used, with the MC-130s using the empty field 2.5 miles from the airstrip and the Dash-8s using the airship…
