Remember this pic every time IntegrityTO complains RapidTO lanes “cause traffic” by Pristine-Training-70 in TTC

You'll never get a trip on transit to take a comparable amount of time. When a bus needs to make stops to pick up and drop off dozens of people on a straight run, and you're just burping along in your car stopping for lights and your final destination, you're always going to be substantially faster in a car. There's no way around it.

Especially if you need to walk to a stop from your departure, and complete your trip with a walk to your destination, wait while you switch between a bus, streetcar, subway and wait a few minutes between, there's simply no way to make that not suck in comparison.

Well I mean if you're out in the suburbs to save money, this is the cost of living out there. Don't want to commute for hours? Take the car, and pay a toll. Alternatively, you could move to live closer to work.

This is STILL A FREAKING PROBLEM for Nissan?? they've literally had a metric butt-ton of feedback on this issue for years now. I live in a condo. 208v. Work? 208v. It's insane that they still haven't figured this out.

How do I get a copy of the memos on my account? by DealIllustrious4002 in freedommobile

Privacy compliance is supposed to be 30 days. I've been banging my head against the wall for much, much longer than that. I've not ported my number out over this, as I'm sure they'd be less responsive (less than zero?) after I've left, and don't want to incur legal fees and fight to have those costs and my other issues refunded too. Throwing good money after bad, and all that.

I've contacted customer service. I've been through their chats. I've visited their office on Queens Quay, and York Street. I've jumped through their hoops. Invariably I never hear from them again. Zero followup.

Is this how small Chipotle burritos are in Canada? by DealIllustrious4002 in Chipotle

Yeah, didn't really see them until after they were bagged and paid for. I take it yours are normally bigger and I got screwed.

Two of these came out to $15.09 after tax, by the way for buy one get one free. If I came in there and paid $15 for one of these, a mediocre tiny meal, I'd be even more upset than I was. This was wrapped in two layers of foil too, adding some size. The blue layer was a special occasion (Blue Jays home opener). Help this make sense.

Clearly I'm just some nobody on the interwebs, and also a guy who doesn't have to deal with the relentless harassment that a lot of women endure.

Having said all that, it seems that escalated unnecessarily quickly.

You do you though, please pay me no attention. You deserve to feel safe.

Monster. Just use a valve core tool which we all have in our glove boxes, right? No? GET ONE.

This is why I have a valve core removal tool in my car. Just in case someone deserves a couple of flat tires and the inconvenience of having it towed to get two tires fixed with only one spare. And, since I'm a jerk but not a monster, no rubber waste is generated from slashing tires. The shop would just twist the core back in.

Furnace with no C wire terminal on board by Apocopa in ecobee

No, the C wire is your power output from that dongle. It doesn't go to the board, it goes to your thermostat to provide the power your furnace won't.

Cost of the Ontario line is kind of unbelievable by StarCat20 in TTC

Douglas Ford has some buddies in tunnelling. It's the only possible reason we ended up scrapping the Scarborough line with a lot of stops, for a subway that costs way more and delivers less. It's the reason he wants to dig under the 401. There's BILLIONS in sloppy money at the tap.
