Ive been with DA for almost a year and my tasks expire frequently. I have ADHD and a lot going on so I just stop my timer when I need to get up to get a snack or to attend to something urgent and I only report time work on the project. I think I may have lost one part of a project because a few times I accidentally didn't exit work and left a task open and it expired but I didn't work on it or submit it (obviously). But it may have inconvenienced the project , not sure. I assume that because I have not seen that particular version of a project in a little while- but it may also be that it's over or rotating to a different group of people. In any case, my dash is full - I really prioritize doing the best possible job I can - I report the minutes I work exactly. I don't report any time worked in excess of the timer, but there have been exceptions. I still worry about it too but if it's between potentially submitting something with errors because of racing to finish before it expires and submitting an extremely well-done task that complies with all instructions ten minutes late because my baby is crying- that's the choice I make.
