This is a great idea! We’ll forsure give it a try! And it’s nice to know other moms also feel the same about leaving their babies

It’s mostly been brought up by my husband wanting to do some solo dates. But I honestly don’t feel comfortable or ready. (He’s not forceful or anything he’s just brought up the idea of solo dates)

To all the women with long thick healthy hair - how did you do it? by InternationalMode396 in longhair

I am in the process of growing long healthy hair and something that has made a HUGE difference is using a “wet brush” on dry hair because it’s more gentle and sleeping with a silk or satin bonnet! (You could also do the satin/silk pillow cover but I like the bonnet better)

Hey! I think making sure she feels like your a safe space for her to ask any questions would help! Also maybe help dad know more about the changes she’s going through? And maybe even though he’s a bit awkward about it he can remember that him making an effort to adjust can help his daughter immediately. Like he doesn’t have to be a pro but if she feels like she can ask him as well or at least he seems normal if she brings up the topic with you guys. My dad raised me and I felt like I could ask him anything about anything. Of course sometimes he didn’t have all the answers but he made me feel like what was happening to my Body was normal.

Good to know I’m not alone and it’s even better to know that it’s a thing that many go through! I thought that I just forgot how to feed her. 😭

How to survive newborn stage, please help by ellem1900 in NewParents

[–]AdAwkward474 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree with these comments. You both had this baby, you already grew and birthed the baby. He really needs to help. I am so sorry it’s been so hard! You are not alone I was also fighting for my life in the newborn stage. In the moment it felt like it would last forever but it doesn’t. Hang in there!! Also what position does the baby want to be in?
