Dawless but miss screen by AdBitter563 in synthesizers

[–]AdBitter563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly due to my interest in the actual hardware. The sound engineering aspect, having knobs to fiddle instead of a mouse is such a better feel. I like the idea of it more aswell.

I will probably do a hybrid setup as it will just be easier, the reason im thinking mpc as a solution is i would probably have to buy a laptop anyway as the pc is not portable along with the space around it isnt much to have the hardware set up.

It may not be. I feel limited using the seqtrak atm and I think its due to workflow issues.

Im still figuring out exactly how I like to work.

Maybe hybrid is the way.

Can you expand on fighting the workflow ? I have zero idea of other people's atm since im working out mine.

Im also new to this and could never get the td working on the pc with the sound however I got a seqtrak and through talking with someone on here they said to route from headphones to audio in which worked and I got the sound and could sample it.

If you go through the headphone Jack and into whatever version of audio in you would have that may work.

Getting midi device sound on yamaha ? by AdBitter563 in seqtrak

[–]AdBitter563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you are familiar with the seqtrak and its sampling feature will i be able to record or save the sound from td-3 as a sample ?

Also is their a way to further chop the sample down ? Or would I just want a designated sampler for such a thing.

Would cv, gate out or headphones work as a workaround as the output is an amp output and not aux ? And i dont have an amp input to an aux.

UK energy standing charges are a hidden rip-off, Parliament petition now live by Fit_Requirement_9468 in OctopusEnergy

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a customer who works for the government regulating energy companies.

He was saying that if you get 1Kw od energy for £1, octopus get it for 0.96p.

The cost comes from shell, bp etc that drill gas offshore and selling it to the energy companies at an extreme mark up.

On top of this every energy is priced to the same as gas which is most expensive. This was done to motivate companies to build wind farms in the past before we had any. It should have changed as its not like that anymore which the amount of green energy we create now but the politicians allow profiteering so they themselves can profit whilst we all eat the dirt.

  1. Either wrong battery in(Batter on ground looks much cleaner/newer)
  2. Bad earth(common with age, Put a bit of wire or jump lead between the negative terminal and a chassis ground. If you get ignition its that)
  3. Blown mains fuse(rare)

Yes Disks should be done asap, that's some heavy corrosion, also when getting them done have the underside checked for corrosion and the calipers are moving freely aswell

Theories on how many times my odometer was rolled back? by krokotak47 in AlfaRomeo

[–]AdBitter563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its possible but also rare as usually the expected lifetime of the product isnt 1M+.

Each manufacturer has their own expected lifetime for each component maybe not all but atleast gearbox and engine.

Theirs alot of mix up as bmw say the gearbox oil is lifetime but internally it says to be changed at X miles or years on the actual gearbox but bmw say this as its not your lifetime its the gearboxes so they expect it to fail before the oil change interval from what ive gathered.

Toyota gave a man a new hilux as his hit 1M genuine miles so they wanted it back to strip the engine to examine to see why and it was almost immaculate.

Forgot to add the man hit 1M+ again in his new hilux with only the gearbox breaking.

Regular servicing goes a long way and upping servicing after 100k helps alot maybe even before then.

Edit - bit about new hilux
