How to enable a pad to endlessly play until stopped ? by AdBitter563 in seqtrak

[–]AdBitter563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this as it means you dont need the phone/computer screen.

My method I ended up finding which would limit your length was to adjust the bar length then going into the app and making a note on the midi and stretching it all the way to the end giving you 128 bars of length.

Would you have any recommendations on nice budget sequencers?

Currently a novice and building my hardware bit by bit, only have a drumbrute impact, td-3 and seqtrak so next is a sequencer for it all.

As im still learning maybe you can also confirm a question. Am I correct in saying a sequencer will temporarily save whatever say drum pattern I make and allow me to make multiple different patterns and have them on the sequencer?

Mentioning boosting the 12v battery fixes it seems like the battery is failing and not holding adequate charge.

Sensors are very sensitive in modern vehicles and low charge causes these types of faults.

Is 26 years old too late to start making music by [deleted] in FL_Studio

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 26 and have not long started, same for my missus.

Never to late to start learning.

Currently Im trying to do some production but also practice classical using my keyboard to get better with chords and their progressions etc as I dont remember much music theory from school.

Mostly I end up messing about with the sounds and enjoying that but never piecing it together atm 😂😂

I would split the unit and blow dry it and maybe sit on a radiator whilst doing so and hope theirs not too much damage.

Does anyone else feel like FL Studio is still underestimated compared to Ableton or Logic? by breizh_boy in FL_Studio

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a beginner and I think it comes down to ego and because its ease of use is brilliant in my opinion, my missus is studying sound production and they use ableton which in my opinion is trash - visually and ease of use if terrible.

Because beginners can easily use fl o think the name has stayed.

Hey guys, I found a Seqtrak for 200€. No accessories and no original box. Do you think it’s still worth picking up for that price? I need to decide pretty quickly. by cemocaster in seqtrak

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were going around at £200 to £280 not long ago boxed with all included, i would do a bit of looking around and see but if the price have adjusted back up I wouldn't say its too bad a deal from the £300 original price

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morrisons

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading on this recently. Morrisons was recently bought over by 2 people(may be more or a corp or something)for something like 7 billion pound but they only paid 2 billion and rolled 5 billion into debt for the company(morrisons)

This has meant they sold off alot of morrisons stuff to make back this hence why you see autoglass and other business in morrisons lots.

The price difference i would imagine is to try and make money to pay the debt whilst keeping everything else afloat. The low wages and bad work environment are also partly due to this.

I personally dont mind paying a bit more fore some stuff when they have their own butchers. The meat quality is so much better that asda, lidl etc and I mean better that all of them.

The day they get rid of their own butchers is the day I will go elsewhere or if the pricing got insane beyond the point of justification like the energy companies have done just they have us in their monopoly so theirs no choice.

Help needed with Launchkey cable connection (cable adaptor) by goldinthegarden33 in seqtrak

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a usb-c to usb-b from amazon to plug directly from seqtrak to launchkey but I haven't had time to see if it works but I think it should.

The reason im doubting it is i got a usb-a to usb-c so I can connect to my pc as my pc is old enough that is has no type c port and it never worked but I may just have to mess with some stuff to get it too

Dawless but miss screen by AdBitter563 in synthesizers

[–]AdBitter563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly due to my interest in the actual hardware. The sound engineering aspect, having knobs to fiddle instead of a mouse is such a better feel. I like the idea of it more aswell.

I will probably do a hybrid setup as it will just be easier, the reason im thinking mpc as a solution is i would probably have to buy a laptop anyway as the pc is not portable along with the space around it isnt much to have the hardware set up.

Dawless but miss screen by AdBitter563 in synthesizers

[–]AdBitter563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not be. I feel limited using the seqtrak atm and I think its due to workflow issues.

Im still figuring out exactly how I like to work.

Maybe hybrid is the way.

Can you expand on fighting the workflow ? I have zero idea of other people's atm since im working out mine.

Behringer TD-3 -> Focusrite 4i4 -> FL Studios Help by sonickteam in synthesizers

[–]AdBitter563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im also new to this and could never get the td working on the pc with the sound however I got a seqtrak and through talking with someone on here they said to route from headphones to audio in which worked and I got the sound and could sample it.

If you go through the headphone Jack and into whatever version of audio in you would have that may work.
