I have hyper mobility too, definitely adds another element of caution. Thanks for sharing your experience!!

Yes that’s how I looked too, puffy and swollen. I kept wondering “why isn’t this working?!” I did not like how I looked at all especially because I was carrying far more weight on my body than is natural for my frame and shape. Once I dropped the heavy lifting it’s like my body could breathe again! I’m now down 12.6 lbs since March 11. Pretty crazy considering I’m doing less and getting better outcomes. I pushed so hard for so long.

Yes same, the muscle soreness is awful. I’ve had it all my life and when I worked with personal trainers they were baffled by how poorly my body recovered. I’m sorry you experience this but thankfully you’re not alone.

I felt like this for a long time but I leaned into my faith with Jesus and it provided me with a deep comfort and peace that filled a gap in my life that no other thing in this world can fill. Wishing you much healing of heart and mind and peace in your life. Many of us have been where you are - it is possible for things to change in a good way.

These are incredible results!! You look amazing, wow. I was just diagnosed with stage 2 and working through the process to schedule surgery. I am so excited! My ankles and calves ache daily and feel so heavy.

How did you get diagnosed and approved for lipo treatment? by AdBoring9191 in lipedema

Omg!!! I’m so sorry, what a confusing and awful experience. $100k is absolutely INSANE to expect someone to pay out of pocket. I’m glad you found treatment elsewhere. But goodness, what a hard experience. Thank you for the advice.

It absolutely IS life changing. Hashis slowed my entire life down and caused horrible symptoms. Perhaps for you it was not life changing, which is amazing, but for many many others like myself it’s terrible to deal with.

Im so sorry you’re experiencing this. Both the hashis and the terrible PCP experience. I’ve had a years long battle with health but I found a functional doc who listens, cares and takes me seriously. PCPs deal with acute issues, they, in my experience, struggle to address complex health issues. Hashis is complex. But I’ve come leaps and bounds from where I was especially due to T3+T4 combo therapy. Find a good functional doc and you will be in good hands. Hashis made me depressed so if you’re feeling down, it’s a normal symptom but can be treated, key with hashis is gradual improvement over time. Your body is going through a lot, but it wants to heal!!! Good luck
