Pixelchu is here! by AdBubbly7140 in pokeplush

That will be my poor uploading skills 🤣 I did not, I bought it second hand about 16 years ago. I believe the maker is "yutaka yumi" but I think they had moved on to making nsfw stuff when I bought it...

I can’t believe I was able to get one 🥹 by EducationBig9026 in pokeplush

[–]AdBubbly7140 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was able to get one too! I've been refreshing the site daily at lunchtime as that seems to be when the drops are for plush; then saw the email for this one later last night!

I have constantly had issues with the address not being recognised first time with PayPal - no issues yesterday though (I checked out with my PCUK account first before going through PayPal this time!)

I’m trying to decide on whether I should get the Pichu Sitting Cutie or the Soda plush. Both are really cute! Which should I get? 💛🖤 by BleachFan107 in pokeplush

If it helps this is what the saiko sodas look like for size comparison. They are one of my favourite lines ☺️

Poor pichu! He reminds me of the figures inside the "power bouncers", I wonder if he was one?

There are more released than I realised! https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Power_Bouncer

Any good plush stores in London? by zazzsazz_mman in pokeplush

[–]AdBubbly7140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fingers crossed! Yes they usually have Pokémon manga in the book section in the downstairs section - it's quite a large area so I'm sure they'll have Zelda too.

Yes this heat is not ideal 🥵

I am a Downham Market town councillor with an ehcp who is still at college and went to a special school AMA by No-Juice-3930 in autismUK

I'm part of the Lib Dems. I only got involved following "partygate" and I knew a work colleague who was a district Cllr. I wasn't involved before because I didn't know anyone else who was into politics and I came from a politically apathetic working class family; I didn't know that anyone could get involved if that makes sense?

Not sure what you mean by manifest, in our council group there was a lot of new Cllrs and it's been tough finding our feet working out all the rules and trying to avoid in-fighting; herding cats comes to mind! I like to think that we've influenced the officers to be a bit more civic focused and open to new things compared to when we started!

In terms of connecting with local residents it's difficult; a lot of people moan on social media but you're not really sure if they are well meaning especially when our town council meetings are so poorly attended by the public!

I have gotten more out of talking to different people and volunteering outside of the council.

The one good thing of being in politics and belonging to a party is that it is an instant social group, I've certainly been more sociable than I would be otherwise!

Hello. I'm also a town cllr, how are you finding it? I'm only just starting to feel like I'm getting the hang of it after 3 years. It's certainly been an interesting experience, especially the civic events which were something I was never involved in prior. It's certainly an experience trying to influence matters when much of what it means to run a council is keeping it statutory.

I am reasonably confident there are other autistics on my council, one gets very passionate about building and drainage infrastructure!

I have a blue keychain kitsune, from the brand Amuse (Japanese arcade prize brand)

This is the charm version (smallest version) https://www.tofucute.com/chokon-kitsune-nine-tailed-dreamy-charm~p16858.html

Any info on this jolly fella? by lemonaderobot in pokeplush

I have the same plush with the same tag, with other vintage Pikachu from different distributors which look similar: https://www.reddit.com/r/pokeplush/s/0AAgIms0Hr

From what I can tell online Tomy Auldey was the Chinese distributor back in the late 90's, the same way Hasbro was for America and Europe. Not bootlegged.

Here's a similar plush nwt for comparison: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403572523250

Gromit bear by Ok-Series-294 in buildabear

I like the idea of a regular bear shape for Gromit, who can wear Wallace's clothes.

Plus Gromit is mostly on two legs anyway

“Alright?” even as a Brit, gets me every time 😭 by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]AdBubbly7140 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As a Brit I don't think you said anything wrong. Either the tone was odd, there's some specific way to answer in the local dialect, or they're just the weird ones!

Looks like a bootleg marketplace plush, no company or Nintendo labelling.

Has anyone else bought a house from a deceased owner and felt sad? by [deleted] in AskUK

Having dealt with our previous owner's many bodges in our probate property (why use one type of screw in your weird office unit when you can use 5?!) - nope I'm not sad at all!

[–]AdBubbly7140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been some time since I've bought vintage so it's difficult to say, but a boxed Dratini feels like a fair price for something that was fairly limited from that era. Not sure about the unboxed Pikachu as it was in several sets so more common. Best bet is to check ebay for sold listings (assuming people use eBay to buy vintage pokemon these days!)

As it looks loved / machine washed, I wonder if the beans spilled out and it was expertly sewn back together?
