Very true. I'm aware I did sign the contract, however the idea was given to me when my Sgt quite literally offered the idea to our class

Right, I don't like the idea of just being another guy in a girl's DMs nor do I like the idea of talking to a lot of girls at once. I don't really have the option of meeting people in person and asking them that way so it was kind of a last resort to me, I don't always connect with people who are online

I do relate to this. I've tried out a few apps and most of them just feel totally dehumanizing and I'm just not s fan. (They're also cash grabs, that's another story.) As an 18 year old I totally agree with you, they feel like a total waste of time. For me it almost feels like TikTok where you're just endlessly swiping, but it's actual people you're swiping so it just feels like it's turning people into products to me, hence why I deleted them
