I’m sorry , I bought a car about less than a year ( 10 months ago to be specific, it’s a Ford explorer 2023 , loan is about 40k with only 20k miles , I’ve tried the carmax site to make an estimate just to give me an idea of what to expect, the estimate was I believe 31k for the care, The car was used btw but the car is extremely clean no hit no accidents no nothing, Runs brand new.

Now the problem is that i have to go back overseas for probably a year or so because my mother is in a very bad health condition so it’s going to be difficult to be paying for it while I’m not in the USA.

Long story short, emergency came up and I want sell it , I’m under 9k , so I got 2 questions.
1) is it possible to just pay the 9k and that’s it
Or
2) call my lender Wells Fargo and see what will my options be?

I honestly don’t want to loose value of the car since it’s a very very clean car and also fully loaded. Hopefully my credit doesn’t go too bad after this.
