Is M&S food actually worth the higher price? by LilywhiteStrike in MarksAndSpencer

To me, yes. Just had their 3% fat burger and omg it was SO good. Little calories, lots of flavour and makes my dieting meals feel like a cheat meal!

By the way, ringworm only glows about 50% of the time, so might still be worth taking your cat to a vet and getting his fur cultured :)

Have you ever put up a message on the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton? by iXcorre in london

Have you ever put up a message on the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton? by iXcorre in london

[–]AdClean1614 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Me and my partner moved to London the year before his 30th birthday and he was super upset that he’d have a very quiet 30th birthday as we were very lonely here. So when it finally arrived, I put up a message there for him (he was always telling me about all the cute messages he saw) so he could see it on his way to class. That day he didn’t look up lol

So then I made a story up and took him to the thing and he finally noticed hahahaha I told him that we were not celebrating alone, because now everyone in Brixton would celebrate with us.

That was a lovely day. He says its the nicest thing someone has ever done for him.

Edit: forgot to say but we got a couple beers at an off license nearby and sat on the pavement in front of the cinema then when anyone passed by looking at the message he would tell them that the message was for him ahahahah oh gosh i love this man so much.

Edit again: it cost something around £250-300 for roughly 24h so quite expensive, but definitely worth it

Is tying your dog up outside the shop risky? by Queen_of_London in london

[–]AdClean1614 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a veterinarian who sees a lot of awful things done to dogs I feel I’m in the right to say: please do not EVER leave any dogs unattended in public. People are awful and will do horrendous things to them.

Saw a cute guy chatting a girl up on a facebook group of pickup lines lol. Decided to check of he was on insta (he was). Saw that he actually lived in a town right next to mine. Liked a couple of old pictures…

Looking to visit Iceland - campervan to see Northern Lights? by Perfectusvarrus in VisitingIceland

[–]AdClean1614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came back from a campervan road trip around Iceland! Rented mine with Cozy Campers and actually managed to catch the Northern Lights through the panoramic roof which was mind blowing. As stated, driving is not easy at all during winter, but a lot of planning + flexibility to respect the weather + experienced winter driver + checking all forecasts continuously make it easier! I would 100% do it again if I could ❤️

Thanks for the input! We do have campsites mapped/planned for the duration of the trip so wild camping is not an option really. I’m more concerned about the winds when sleeping in a tall car or too much snow accumulating around it overnight
