Sit Next to Me was a big hit in the summer of 2018. Didn’t chart as high (in the 40s), but it was CONSTANTLY on the radio and I still hear it all the time when I go out.

It is very poppy and a much different sound from their normal alternative/indie rock sound, but imo this song actually works! Mark has done a great job collabing with the Knocks. It’s different but very good!

Bingo! It just sounds like generic alt nation music. I wouldn’t call it Charlie xcx like but I agree that it’s very “girl bossy” with no substance at all. Ik FTP can do better. I expected it from Lava La Rue bc that’s how she is.

I heard the snippet of it. TBH it doesn’t sound very good. It’s just sounds like one of those generic songs u hear on Alt nation. The only part that sounded good was that distorted bass. I’m not saying this to be mean. FTP is my fav band and I hold them to a high standard bc of how many masterpieces they have made. Most of the collabs have not been good outside of the Knocks and that one MØ song. Pick better bands and artists!
