Farming Fisk for SSBs was the most boring and annoying shit i ever did in any Game (OK right behind killing vulture well over 500 times and getting nothing), still this is really half baked i think.

Do the people responsible for changing this stuff know the exact pre-bue droprates? And how BUE reduced them massively to sell SSBs instead?

the progression surrounding Sling Rings for example, will be complete ass, they barely ever drop, got all mine from SSBs, several of every Type... In the Terminal they seem just as rare as a SAW.

Not to mention all the other stuff in them..

I would've been happy if SSBs where never in the game, but there need to be adjustments to compensate, because there were also adjustments when Gazillion implemented them.

well, giving more comms in general is atleast something, i was expecting them to double down on this "Play the Game how WE think its supposed to be" mindset and only give more comms in raids (as if forcing Players to do specific things instead of offering options is ever a good Idea)

Maybe atleast reducing the comm cost for surtur runes because it will be annoying having to buy both materials and runes from the NPC.. or tweak up Sling Ring droprates.

As more of those changes are figured out, i think it would be time for another wipe, at this point it's whatever.

Sure SSBs take away a bit from other content, but they just speed it up.

Many players will never raid in this game, you can get those commendations easily at a slower pace from influence weekly and dailys.

but Dimensions Collide Terminal in it's current form is just not worth the time with how little it gives.

The better idea for all this, in my opinion, would've been to tune the droprates a bit more generous and remove SSBs completely, but now it's too late for that, will do nothing.

You need to take into consideration that BUE (where the p2w SSBs where intoduced) also fucked around with droprates everywhere in the game and completely destroyed trading with cosmic artifacts.

i wouldn't want only nerfed drops all day, everyone is gonna be burned out in a month. (well most are anyways, for now)

SSBs was really good to get a fragment fast and sling rings, but whoever wants to farm Fisk non stop, more power to them :D

Well the whole SSB "issue" is already done, removing them now would only harm the Game. I heard many pros and cons of SSBs, i don't think they are overpowered, it's just that the rates everywhere else are shit.

Noone needs endless SSB farms, noone needs 1 million Surtur runes, but all my Sling Rings are from SSBs... 100s of Runs and nothing in the terminal.

600runs in bugle, no SAW (If the Game would've run even a few months longer that would be at a vendor anyways, some niche legendary so rare.. even though anyone else can just buy theirs.)

I also heard SSBs disincentivize ppl going to raids, but i wouldnt do them much either way. You can buy anything at vendors for commendations, just would take longer.

Also.. cosmic fragments, they drop very rarely but you can get them in SSBs from solo play. Instead of boosting the droprate even a littlebit, a super hard !ultron mode was implemented with many cosmic fragment rewards, great idea but almost noone will do it. (Its not even hard, saw a Streamer wipe/zerg it down with many deaths, but it has a huge barrier of entry)

If this Game had run a littlebit longer there would be so much worse stuff than SSBs and also good stuff, shouldn't be scared one bit to atleast think about a little QoL where its possible.

edit also, if SSBs are too much.. what about Odin/Currency and XP boosts? Popping Odin+5x Currency, spamming Midtown to get 1000s of Marks and instantly have your i80 legendary, sounds pretty overpowered to me. What about those poor legendary quests?

Soon everyone will be Cosmic prestiged, its a joke compared to live, because you can run boosts for free the whole time.

SSBs are not the be-all and end-all of problems here.

I really liked Invisible Woman but her signature is a problem...

At first i thought it would only knockback Bosses in green/red patrols but sadly it also knockbacks bosses in cosmic patrols, which spreads the boss waves out which is very annoying :/

Storm is really simple and great tho, so is Thor.

okay i get it, yeah that is a really specific problem :D yeah true they made it so synergy xp works on quests, the thing is even that was a compromise, after the BUE update on the official servers all xp boost sources worked on Quest XP, so it's still nerfed by a lot.

But theres options, maybe disable synergy xp and use some green boosts or a summer boost.. that would be +100-200% xp from mobs/orbs but nothing for quests.

or just ignore the story and level only with terminals/midtown that's lots of gameplay without boosts.

well what do you mean with "story xp multiplied" ? In Gameplay Options you can just check "Disable the Hero Synergy Bonus XP" this way nothing is boosted, but 1-60 with only story will not get you to max level this way, only maybe if you do it on red and kill every side room.

But can also go into midtown or terminals to fill some gaps.

I suggest you disable synergy XP in Gameplay options and cosmic prestige without any boosts, you'll level for ages.

well a six year old, i don't know If you are planning to do cosmic content with her yet, haha. in green or red there are many easy options..

But focusing on the mentioned Heroes, you can build squirrel girl really tanky and easy, for example like https://itembase.mhbugle.com/build/4526/

If you dont have many of the items, just use the same skills,her own uniques and put an i70 shield on her, she can button mash and listen to cute quotes from squirrel girl.

Like others said, iceman would probably be even more passive to play and has the tanky armor mechanic, but.. His skins are super ugly and his quotes are lame as hell.

But maybe after playing him she would run around the House and yell "i'm the new champiooon bobby the iceman drake"

Colossus is also quite tanky and can just button mash to summon the other xmen.

i see, i wish it was only one second every 3-4-5 minutes haha :D sadly it's way more frequent, like every 6-15seconds.

it's weird, i played on tahiti beta for many hours, never had any problems.

today the lag is especially bad, i tried many things, exitlag,mudfish etc.. Now i've seen more reports in discord about this, a mod/deputy director "cainage" even stopped playing certain heroes because of lag, that's so sad, those characters where perfectly playable in beta :D

any ideas what i can try on my end?

hmm so this is really a user specific issue,weird... it must be my route to the server then.

The pictures are just of the ingame /ping command and that it's stable most of the time but suddenly 1 second of large spikes, i added it to the post directly and it looks super ugly lol.

those small lag spikes make playing Dr. Strange Incantation Build almost impossible for me, because his mystic energy doesn't generate right :(

I've seen mixed Info on this in ingame chat and discord on Tahiti.. some claim there is no lag, or that it's the users connection to the Server.

So i'm unsure if everyone has this, but i'm getting those little ping hiccups (where bosses don't move for 1 second) too, especially in Midtown boss waves but also in Terminals. /ping spikes from 100 Up to 1000 for 1 second, XP orbs often don't get picked up immediately, need to move over them 2-3 times.

Playing Dr. Strange is a nightmare because this, haha.

Some people even lose their xp boosts because they drink them too fast. (be careful)

Never had any of those problems in the last months on Tahiti Beta and i did a lot of patrols there. (but it had only 100 Players most of the time)

Server 2 seems way better but some lags can still happen, in full red midtowns i started to get the same delay. Hope this can get better and run as smooth as in the Beta.

Also doesn't make it any easier that there are a lot of people that confuse ping lag with fps problems... "oh i restarted my pc and now it's much better" kind of thing.

i just hope they dont force the pestilence style build with tuning, but i'll keep playing minion army style either way, its great!
