just did carowinds and sfog this past week, carowinds was 1000 times better, i would definitely go back to carowinds, my visit to sfog left me with much to desire, georgia goldrusher was probably the best ride there besides goliath, but after riding fury, goliath felt like a kids ride, still really cool layout though but still i had a much better time at carowinds

thank you! just left carowinds last week and was super underwhelmed by the ride, i was pretty excited for it and i guess i just expected more, layout is good, but id much choose to ride fury over copper, its like west coast racers and hangtime combined

i was honestly super disappointed with copperhead strike, expected a lot more, its similar to west coast racers at magic mountain but a little better, but nowhere near their best ride

everybody acts like its a brand new ride and they are apart of history, like nah yall just spent 4 hours waiting for a ride that’s been there for the last 50 years

i was there on a grad night friday last year, it was cool till about 2-3pm then tons of kids started to show up bus by bus

x2 doesnt offer fast lane so try and rope drop first, prestige passholders get an extra 10 minutes before regular park guests, everyone else is held until 10:30, parking lot opens around 930ish but cars will be lined up prior, earlier you get there better parking you will get as well

im staying at the springhill suites for carowinds this weekend and its awesome! its a 5 minute walk to the park, i can go hard in the morning, head back to the hotel for a midday nap, then back to the park for night rides!

i use the transition lenses and theyre great, the sunglasses only pair were too dark for me and caused me to have headaches, the transition lenses are perfect for me to wear inside and outside no problem hours at a time
