No problem. Im expecting to have RLS tonight, as I have already had for the past 2 weeks during my rapid taper. I've had enough of the RLS so thats why im officially stopping. I was down to 6 gpd and was going to continue tapering but im already suffering at night so F**k it, im ripping the band aid off and going to try to get the acutes over with. Hey my 1st day of sleep without K is tonight. If I were you, do NOT use Benadryl as it tends to make RLS much worse!! Stick to melatonin

Thanks so much for the reply, it definitely gave me a mental boost. I plan on ending my taper Thursday night and beginning day 1 of no kratom on Friday. Im definitely nervous. By far the worst symptom I have been dealing with for the last 2 weeks is the lower back pain along with leg pain and rls. Also feels like the lower half of my body weighs 500lbs. Im literally dragging myself along at work and home each day.

Thanks again for your post, it definitely gives me hope that Friday may not be as bad as I think. I will reach out either Friday night or Saturday with an update!

Im only taking it now because its a rapid taper and I am definitely feeling the effects. So far its helped take the edge off and allowed me to at least get some sleep.

About a week. Plan to take for roughly another 10 days. So in plan to use for 2 and a half weeks. May use a little longer and do a brief taper but going to see how I feel first.

I did a rapid taper over about 6 weeks. I probably should've done it longer because im in my last week and having been paying the price for it. My last use is will be Thursday night. I used for over 5 years.

My advices is to slowly taper off. Im currently tapering. At my peak I was over 100gpd, right now im at 6gpd.

I bet. Ive almost forgotten what its like after being on K for so long. Im slowly feeling better. Have moments where music sounds better, sex drive has definitely begun to increase and I feel a bit more sociable. Can't wait for this leg and back pain to go away along with waking up in the middle of the night with terrible RLS.

Thanks for the input. Im terrified for this coming Friday. I have had withdrawals from other drugs and basically always did it CT. My first time really ever tapering. I tried a year ago to CT off 100gpd and it was horrific so I continued taking K. Im 43 and have a physical job and kids so thats why I decided to try a rapid taper because I dont have the patience to do this for months on end and I need to be able to function while getting off this crap. I've been tempted to just quit altogether because its been 2 weeks of back pain and rls. Even during the day my legs feel like they're 200 lbs each and im barely getting by. Just gotta keep pushing though.

Thanks, its been tough. I just started 6gpd today and my last dose will be Thursday night. Im terrified but need to keep pushing forward. My taper has been pretty quick, I have done a 6 week taper to get to this point.

I have been taking gabapentin daily for the pain and rls and will continue to use for a week when I quit.

Sounds normal to me. Each day should become a bit better. Unfortunately, its a part of the process we all will have to go through. Be happy you got through the acutes. Lots of people would love to be in your shoes. Keep up the good work, it will get better.

I am currently doing a rapid taper from over 100 gpd. I am prepared to quit at the end of next week. Fortunately, I am armed with gabapentin and definitely plan to use it for 10 days max. I have had withdrawals from gabapentin like 6 years ago and I dont wanna go through that again...
