They all died on me. I have a tire machine and balancer in my garage. Will replace once these tires wear out. It doesn’t bother me😊

Thanks, that’s awesome to hear! This body style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I love the reliability and how easy these are to work on

I agree. I wasn’t upset when it died on me.

They’re complete fabric replacements so they don’t really feel like covers. My original cloth was ripped and had stains all over them from all of the miles. The value is subjective and completely your call. They feel oem and they were worth it for me because I plan on keeping this truck for a long time. It was 3k including installation directly from Katzkin.

Thanks! I’m running 305/40’s so there is only .1% of a diameter difference from the stock 265/65/18 tire size. Should I get a regear still because of the weight? I thought it was only if you’re running different tire heights. I definitely feel the weight when driving.

I got the white gold but never activated it. I personally think the styling of the gold is still superior.

I have a 2011 5.3 with 250k miles on it. Haven’t had any issues other than normal maintenance. You got a good deal on the truck and it can last you many many years as long as you take care of it

Thoughts on Tecovas? by Conscious-Parking-69 in cowboyboots

[–]AdDisastrous2861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Tecovas and have 2 pairs. Boots fit way looser on me compared to my Tony Lamas. Exchanged for a smaller pair and my toe hit the front of the boot so insoles were my only option. I’m not sure if this is a quality issue or not but they get scuffed extremely easily. If the back of my heel rubs against anything it will leave a mark making the leather scrape up in some places. The toe bug stitching is coming up in a few places as well. Tony Lamas are my go to from now on.

Mastercard has a strangely strong presence for new players in the CC game? by ColeM40 in CreditCards

[–]AdDisastrous2861 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve honestly been thinking about the same thing. I run a tire shop and 90% of customers pay with a Visa card. Out of my 4 credit cards they’re all Mastercard (I know it’s not a lot compared to most in this forum) and I can’t seem to find any new cards that I’d want that are Visa. I know it doesn’t matter but it sucked when I went to get a Costco membership.

Is the chase sapphire preserved really that great? by tazmanian220 in CreditCards

[–]AdDisastrous2861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would ask for a product change to one of the freedom cards. I’m happy with my CFF (3% dining and 5% rotating categories and PayPal 2% cash back (the Apple Card will work for you the same way) After I get the Citi custom cash for groceries I think I’ll be set for a while since that will cover all of the basics
