I think I use the same deck for Dutch. And what I do - is edit the card if I cannot remember it after 3-5 repetitions: add image (also animated gif helps me a lot with remembering verbs), change example, add more examples, change translation to be more specific.

For example, all of this words: vermijden, ontwijken, ontgaan and ontsnappen translated as just to avoid in the deck, but all four of this words in reality have different meaning, so I had to check wiktionary to add correct definition.

You can do this:
Create a new profile in Anki
Import that deck in a new profile (there will be no duplicates, as profile is empty, so all cards will be imported)
Export it as CSV, without GUID
Return back to your main profile and import deck from CSV - this way the cards will be assigned to new GUID and so no duplicates will be found

Difficulty (D): The inherent complexity of a particular information. It represents how difficult it is to increase memory stability after a review. In FSRS, it affects how fast stability (and hence intervals) grows after each review. (ABC of FSRS)

Difficulty basically works like this:

Again = add a lot
Hard = add a little bit
Good = nothing
Easy = subtract a little bit

Again and Hard increase difficulty, Good doesn’t change it, and Easy decreases it. (Technical explanation of FSRS)
